Nikki DeLoach Reveals New Movie With Beloved Christmas Co-Star

Hallmarkies who’ve missed seeing Nikki DeLoach in Hallmark’s 2025 movie lineup will be relieved to know the actress will be back soon, and with a favorite co-star by her side.

In an interview with Us Weekly published on May 25, 2025, DeLoach confirmed she’ll star in “Home Turf” this fall and, interestingly, she’ll reunite onscreen with Warren Christie, her co-star in November’s “Our Holiday Story.”

“Home Turf” is one of several Hallmark movies being filmed in Utah during the first half of 2025, per the Salt Lake Tribune, which reported that Maclain Nelson was the director. Nelson has directed many Hallmark movies, including the “Haul Out the Holly” movies and 2024’s “The Magic of Lemon Drops” and “Branching Out.”

Filmed in the Salt Lake City area in April, according to local casting notices, DeLoach told Us Weekly she had a blast on set.

“It’s football, it’s romance, it’s college campuses, it’s multi-generational, it’s funny,” she said. “Warren Christie is my co-star again. We’ve been reunited from Christmas. And I gotta tell you, I have not had this much fun on a set in a really long time. I am so excited about this movie!”

With over two dozen Hallmark movies under her belt, DeLoach typically stars in multiple movies for the network each year, but she has been absent from the schedule during the first six months of 2025.

The good news for fans is that she not only filmed “Home Turf” this spring, but also two new “True Justice” mysteries filmed earlier in the year with Benjamin Ayes, Kat McNamara, and the rest of the cast from the original 2024 mystery. However, those two new movies have yet to be given premiere dates.

Meanwhile, fans of her “Curious Caterer” franchise with Andrew Walker have been eager to see them reunite onscreen since their fifth movie, “Forbidden Fruit,” premiered in October.

In December, Walker told Soaps.com, “We were supposed to shoot a couple of them in the new year, January and February, but they’ve been pushed back to mid-year.”

On April 24, DeLoach let fans know that nothing had been scheduled yet. When a fan created a funny meme featuring her and fellow “Curious Caterer” actress Jaycie Dotin, DeLoach shared it in her Instagram Stories and wrote, “Aww thank you for the love! We love you, too. We actually have not filmed any new Curious Caterers, unfortunately. Hoping we can get to do some soon. ❤️”
