For years, Nikki DeLoach has been Hallmark Channel’s unofficial ambassador of resilience. She has publicly navigated her fair share of hard circumstances, from her youngest son Bennett’s heart surgeries to her dad’s 2021 death from a form of Alzheimer’s Disease, while finding and sharing the good through it all.
On May 5, 2025, the “Curious Caterer” star revealed she’s in another hard season and actively searching for miracles. Although the actress didn’t specifically share what’s been weighing on her heart, she shared that “the last time I cried this much was in the year after my dad passed.”
The cause of all those tears, she shared in the caption of an Instagram selfie, is “because choosing faith over fear requires you to sit with and in uncertainty, discomfort, fear of judgement, disappointment and even failure. It requires humility, honesty and an unwavering commitment to self-love and self-worth.”
Hallmark friends and fans have rallied around DeLoach, praising her courage and honesty.
Nikki DeLoach Says Looking for Miracles Has Helped Her Stay Brave
DeLoach, who filmed two new “True Justice” movies with Benjamin Ayres in early 2025, continued her honest post by sharing, “I wanted to challenge myself this year to place my faith over my fear in whatever struggle, situation or decision I was facing. Easier said than done, right? Right. This is no easy mountain to climb. In fact, at times it has felt terrifying, like jumping off a cliff with no parachute or safety net.”
In February, DeLoach shared that she had chosen the word “miracles” to guide her intention for the year, wanting to lean into being in awe of the world around her. She has periodically shared her findings on social media, from a joyful and safe family ski day to a field trip with first graders.
“One of the reasons I chose the word ‘miracles’ for 2025,” she wrote in her latest post, “is because I knew I would need a daily practice that would help me stay brave. Since January 1st, 2025, I’ve looked and found miracles every single day. And every time I pause to delight in those miracles, I can feel my angels near, whispering, ‘You are on the right path. Keep going.'”
DeLoach continued, “I jumped. I’m still mid-air, the ground below me, wind pressing up against my face. But I’m no longer scared that I will not be caught. I can see now that I am my own parachute. And I’ve got the best safety net a lady could ask for in God, my angels above and my angels below, who lift me up in love everyday.”
“Whatever it is that you are up against today,” DeLoach concluded, “whatever challenge, decision, struggle you are facing, choose yourself, choose love, choose faith over fear. Because there is one thing I know for sure… you are absolutely worth it.”
