As Hallmark’s Christmas countdown continues, we’re looking forward to a festive week of movie premieres on network TV and special treats from Hallmark+. This week’s lineup includes a very special movie about the real Santa Claus, starring Kimberley Sustad and Benjamin Ayres. And fan-favorite Brooke D’Orsay is back for a faith-based DaySpring movie about the Christmas star. Meanwhile, Hallmark Mystery has a new movie with a unique storyline that touches on artists vs technology. If you’re subscribed to Hallmark’s streaming platform Hallmark+, you’ll also get to see Wes Brown’s new series and the finale for Jonathan Bennett’s search for Mr. Christmas.
Hallmark Channel Premieres This Week
Here are the new movies premiering on the Hallmark Channel this week.
‘Hanukkah on the Rocks’ – Friday, December 13 at 8 p.m. Eastern
Hallmark’s Hannukah-themed movie premieres this week! Starring Stacey Farber and Daren Kagasoff.
The synopsis reads: “After getting laid off, Tory gets roped into bartending at a local bar during Hanukkah where she connects with the patrons – especially Jay and his grandfather Sam.”
This movie was filmed in Canada’s Niverville in late September, Niverville Citizen reported.
‘The Santa Class’ – Saturday, December 14 at 8 p.m. Eastern
Kimberley Sustad and Benjamin Ayres’ movie is finally here! This one features a unique, Santa-themed storyline that viewers are definitely going to love.
The synopsis reads: “Kate North (Sustad) finds herself reluctantly taking over her father’s once acclaimed and now struggling Santa School. In the weeks leading up to Christmas and the school’s next session, Kate and her new co-worker Dan (Ayres) discover who they believe to be the real Santa Claus, lost and without his memories after his sled steered off course and crashed near the school. They decide to help him remember who he is by inviting him to participate in the intense Santa training program.”
The two stars look like they had a lot of fun on set.
‘Following Yonder Star’ – Sunday, December 15 at 8 p.m. Eastern
Brooke D’Orsay and John Brotherton team up for this new faith-based DaySpring movie.
The synopsis reads: “Abby Marshall, once celebrated for her role as an inspirational mother on TV, is finding her real life in shambles after dealing with a scandal. She retreats to a luxury Vermont resort for Christmas only to find herself without a room due to a booking mishap. All the local hotels are booked up due to a rare astronomical event – a beautiful star said to mirror the Star of Bethlehem will appear on Christmas Eve. Thankfully, Abby finds a room at a quaint B&B, owned by Tom Maguire, who is also a high school astronomy teacher. Since his wife’s passing, Tom has taken on a lot of extra responsibilities, including running the inn and directing the local church’s Christmas pageant. Empathizing with Tom, Abby offers to help with the pageant and various activities around the inn and finds herself enjoying both the projects and Tom’s company.”
D’Orsay just got back about a month ago from the first Hallmark cruise, and she shared on Instagram that she had a blast there.

Mallory Jansen and Dan Jeannotte star in this timely singer/songwriter flick about competing in a tech-savvy world.

Wes Brown’s ‘Ready, Set, Glow’ Premieres on December 12
Wes Brown’s new series launches this Thursday! In this four-episode show, he meets families whose decorations have heartwarming family themes. Brown hit the road last December and January to film light displays and talk to the families.
New ‘Holidazed’ Episode on December 12
A new episode of “Holidazed” also premieres on December 12.
The synopsis reads: “Gaby’s family traditions are thwarted by Katie, her former high school bully and her brother’s current girlfriend. Will their rivalry come between the couple’s first Christmas together?”
‘Finding Mr. Christmas’ Finale on December 12
The finale of “Finding Mr. Christmas” airs on December 12. We’ll finally learn who will be Hallmark’s newest Christmas hunk. The winner will have a role in “Happy Howlidays,” which premieres on December 21.
