As Hallmark’s Christmas movie lineup nears its conclusion, we’re looking forward to a few surprises. This week’s lineup includes two surprise extended cuts of fans’ favorite 2024 Hallmark films. You’ll also get to see the last two new Christmas movie of the 2024 season, including one that features an appearance by the winner of “Finding Mr. Christmas.”
Hallmark Channel’s Premiere This Week
With Christmas almost here, Hallmark only has one movie left for the 2024 Countdown to Christmas holiday, but they also have two surprise extended cuts on the schedule.
‘Holiday Touchdown (Extended Cut)’ — Friday, December 20 at 8 p.m. Eastern
You don’t have to be sad about missing a new movie premiere on Friday, December 20. That’s because Hallmark is airing an extended cut of its hit movie, “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story,” instead! (The extended cut is already available on Hallmark+.)
‘Happy Howlidays’ — Saturday, December 21 at 8 p.m. Eastern
Jessica Lowndes and Ezra Moreland grace our screens for this new film! The “Finding Mr. Christmas” winner told EW that he had about two months to prepare for his role in the movie after winning “Finding Mr. Christmas.” He said he took some acting classes to prepare.
“It was a beautiful eye-opening experience for me,” he shared. (We’re not naming the winner in case you haven’t finished “Finding Mr. Christmas” yet.) He joked that he wears a turtleneck in the movie and also has a shirtless scene.
Hallmark’s synopsis reads, in part: “Mia (Lowndes), a meticulous webpage editor for the Seattle Tourism Board, finds herself unexpectedly navigating the holidays alone. As the only one working, she’s drawn into an unusual encounter when she encounters a stray dog. Unsure how to handle the situation, she crosses paths with Max, a dog shelter owner.”
‘Three Wiser Men and a Boy (Extended Cut)’ — Sunday, December 22 at 8 p.m. Eastern
The Tyler Hynes fun continues on Sunday night. There may not be a new movie premiere, but you’ll get to watch an extended cut of “Three Wiser Men and a Boy,” starring Tyler Hynes, Andrew Walker, and Paul Campbell.
Hallmark Mystery Premiere This Week
Hallmark Mystery has one last new Christmas film for us too!
‘Trading Up Christmas’ — Thursday, December 19 at 8 p.m. Eastern
This new movie stars Italia Ricci and Michael Xavier.
Hallmark’s synopsis for the film reads, in part: “Michelle (Ricci) is the dreamer of her family, always brimming with imaginative ideas to make the world a better place. This Christmas, her sister Keri desperately needs a new home, and Michelle hatches a creative plan to help. Starting with just a Christmas stocking, she sets out to trade her way up to something far greater—a house for Keri.”

‘Deck the Halls on Cherry Lane’ Airs December 19
This latest “Cherry Lane” installment visits 1966, 1981 and 2000.
‘Ready, Set, Glow’ Episode 2 on December 19
Wes Brown’s four-episode series premieres its second episode on December 19. This is the “Festive Families” episode. The synopsis reads: ” In this episode, Wes Brown meets four families whose bonds are strengthened each year as they make new memories building exceptional holiday light displays.”
‘Holidazed’ on December 19
Episode 7 premieres on December 19. This one is focused on the Manetti-Hanahan family. A synopsis reads: “In the Manetti-Hanahan family, there’s never a silent night at Christmastime; this year, Connie wants peace and asks her husband Chuck to put aside his neighborhood rivalry.”
