Former Hallmark star Lori Loughlin is ready to make a major move as she works to put her college admissions scandal fully behind her.
The “When Calls the Heart” alum and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, have put their home in Los Angeles, California on the market.
Lori Loughlin & Mossimo Giannulli Listed the Home for $16.5 Million
People reported on February 6 that Loughlin and Giannulli listed their home in the Hidden Hills area of Los Angeles with a price tag of $16.5 million. The couple bought the house in 2020.
The house features 11,800 square feet of living space and was built in 2019. The listing for the home on Christie’s International Real Estate indicates the property has six bedrooms as well as six full bathrooms.
Described as a “contemporary farmhouse,” the house was designed with an open-concept design. Maple hardwood floors run throughout the house and there are “soaring” ceilings. In addition, the house has a chef’s kitchen filled with high-end touches.
The master suite contains two bathrooms and a fireplace, along with a stunning view of the mountains nearby. Loughlin and Giannulli’s house also has a home theater, wine cellar, and a fully-equipped gym. In addition, the property has a swimming pool, bocce ball court, spa, barbecue area, and fire pit outdoors.
The Couple Previously Lived in a More Expensive Home in Bel Air
According to People, the Hidden Hills property was “considered a major downsize from their former abode.” Before purchasing the Hidden Hills home in 2020 for $9.5 million, the family lived in the Bel Air area of Los Angeles.
The couple first listed their Bel Air property for sale in 2017. They priced it at $35 million initially, and in 2020 relisted it at $28.65 million.
“Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles” star Josh Flagg represented the eventual buyer. He indicated to People the property that his buyers purchased the home for $18.75 million.
People noted that when the Bel Air home sold, a source told them that Giannulli and Loughlin were “still making money from the sale, just not as much as they hoped for.”
According to an Instagram post by Keylead Media, the couple previously had their Hidden Hills home on the market for around a year. It was priced at $17.5 million throughout that time.
In August 2020, People reported that Giannulli and Loughlin took plea deals in their legal case with the college admissions situation. They both received short prison sentences. Loughlin and Giannulli purchased the Hidden Hills home during their legal issues, which began with charges in 2019.
