Lacey Chabert recently opened up about her dream co-stars, a beloved Hallmark franchise she wishes she could revisit, and her exciting new holiday venture. In a candid interview, the Hallmark favorite talked about nostalgia she’s feeling, along with her excitement for the future.
Lacey Chabert Would Love to Star in a Movie With Ben Ayres or Paul Campbell
During an interview with Swooon, Chabert was asked about which Hallmark stars she’s never worked with before that she’d love to star in a movie with.
“Ben Ayres and I haven’t worked together,” Chabert shared. “I love him. He’s so funny.”
Another star quickly came to mind too.
“Paul Campbell, also so wonderful,” she added. “So those are the first two gentlemen to pop into my head. We know each other, you know, from all of the events. And obviously it’s a small circle and a small family at Hallmark. But we haven’t had a chance to work together. So I would love that chance.”
She Wishes She Could Make One More ‘All of My Heart’ Movie
Chabert also told Swooon which movie franchise she had hoped to make another film for.
“I always wanted to make another ‘All of My Heart,'” she admitted. “It didn’t happen… I just wanted to see those characters one more time so badly. But I love working with Brennan [Elliot]. I mean, 10 movies now. He’s a dear friend and when you have that level of comfort and trust with someone, you just walk on set and you know… There’s an ease to it that’s really, really appreciated. And he’s just wonderful, so I hope we do more together.”
Chabert’s also excited about her new upcoming product line that’s launching this holiday season.
Hallmark Media announced that Chabert signed a huge deal with them that includes movies, a product line and a second season of “Celebrations with Lacey Chabert.”
The product line has a nostalgic touch, Chabert told Swooon.
“It’s gift wrap, cards and glassware and beautiful gift bags, and it’s all inspired by prints from the Hallmark archives from the 1950s,” she said. “So it’s whimsical and colorful and fun, and it just feels like my style. And the design team there is just incredible and we had a wonderful time putting this together… It’s another way that I feel so honored I can be part of people’s celebrations.”
According to Hallmark’s press release, the product line will extend into 2026 after the holidays with “everyday products that help people create joyful memories year-round.” It will be available exclusively at Hallmark Gold Crown Stores.
