Kevin McGarry Spills on His Honeymoon Plans With Kayla Wallace

Hallmark stars Kevin McGarry and Kayla Wallace met while working together on “When Calls the Heart,” and the sparks quickly flew. The couple got married in 2024, but they have yet to take a honeymoon. McGarry recently shared a little bit of insight into where things are in the planning for it.

On February 12, McGarry talked with Swooon. “We haven’t had a honeymoon yet, so we really have to get on that,” he admitted.

McGarry continued, “Getting married was a must, and we got that out of the way. And now, we’ll find some time to do a honeymoon. It’ll be fantastic, but we’re very busy.”

Before the wedding, McGarry shared an additional bit of insight into what he thought the couple would do for a honeymoon. He told Entertainment Tonight that if it were a choice between a tropical location or exploring a city, he thought the city would win.

McGarry noted he and Wallace have gone on tropical vacations before. However, they both get a bit restless after a few days. He wants to explore, eat new foods, meet people, and try new things, he added.

In September 2024, People confirmed the pair had quietly married.

Season 6 of “When Calls the Heart” was filmed during the summer of 2018, which is when McGarry and Wallace first connected.

He told Swooon, “I owe a lot to ‘When Calls the Heart’ for not only helping my career and giving me a job and meeting all my friends, but meeting Kayla, meeting my wife, it’s been the most special part of being on that show.”

McGarry quickly developed a romantic interest in Wallace. He admitted to Swooon that he felt something for her as soon as he met her and he “hoped” their connection would develop into something more.

The pair went public with their relationship on social media in November 2020. In December 2022, the couple announced they were engaged.

While McGarry continues to star on “When Calls the Heart,” Wallace has thrown herself into a different show. She stars on the Paramount+ show “Landman” and it’s keeping her very busy.

The pair also starred in two other Hallmark projects together, “Feeling Butterflies” and “My Grown-Up Christmas List.”
