Hallmark Star Gushes Over ‘Best Friend’ on Wedding Anniversary

A Hallmark star and his husband just celebrated their wedding anniversary, and he felt pretty mushy about it. Jonathan Bennett took to his Instagram page to celebrate his marriage to husband Jaymes Vaughan.

Jonathan Bennett & Jaymes Vaughan Wed 3 Years Ago

On March 19, Bennett shared a video from his wedding day via his Instagram page. In the caption, he wrote, “3 years married to my best friend. One million more to go. ❤️ 3.19.22 #BennettVaughan

The video Bennett posted showed the two men wearing tuxedos, standing facing one another and holding hands. Bennett bounced and giggled as the two men declared their love for one another.

After they were officially married, both men bounced up and down and had huge smiles on their faces as they faced their guests.

The video also showed the two men after they exchanged vows, walking hand-in-hand down the beach. During footage from the evening reception, both Bennett and Vaughan looked around in amazement as they continued to gush over one another.

Bennett’s post received about 650 comments from friends, fans, and colleagues. Many of the comments were strings of celebratory emojis or notes of congratulations.

One comment read, “So happy for the both of you! Congratulations! Your wedding video shows the love and happiness the two of you share-something very special!”

Someone else wrote, “Happy Anniversary to the best [role] model couple for our community. Thank you for all your strength. Many happy years together.”

The Couple Felt It Was a Dream Wedding

After the March 2022 wedding, People shared details about the event. The wedding was held at an inclusive resort in Mexico and 104 guests watched Bennett and Vaughan get married.

Guests dressed in white and other light colors, and the two grooms changed into white tuxedos at the reception.

There was no traditional walk down the aisle at their wedding. Instead, the two men walked in from the beach while a song of Vaughan’s played. The song was one Vaughan wrote for Bennett.

White flowers were incorporated into the decor to honor Bennett’s mother, and the decision to have guests wear white was a nod to Bennett’s mother, too. Vaughan explained, “White flowers were her favorite.”

Bennett gushed, “It was honestly a dream wedding! We kept having to stop and remind ourselves that we weren’t on a movie set, but this was actually our real life. If you had told me this was one of my Hallmark movie sets, I would have believed it. It was that perfect.”
