Hallmark star Tyler Hynes is celebrating his birthday on May 6, and one of his good friends and co-stars shared a charming message on social media in honor of the big day.
Jonathan Bennett and Hynes have become close friends, and they love to joke around with one another. In an Instagram post shared by Bennett honoring his bud’s birthday, sentimentality and comedy were incorporated into a fun message that fans loved.
Jonathan Bennett Praised Tyler Hynes As Loving & Supportive
In the caption of his birthday tribute, Bennett wrote, “Happy Birthday @tyler_hynes There is no one more loyal, kind, or supportive than you. Except for @iambjbritt but then it’s you.”
Hynes, Britt, and Bennett starred together in Hallmark’s trilogy of “The Groomsmen” movies, which were filmed in Greece for an extended period of time. It appeared that all of the photos and videos Bennett included in his birthday tribute were from that time.
Bennett’s tribute continued, “You are the definition of true friendship and you made my life better by being my friend.”
He teasingly added, “I love you brother, now please go shut the lights off and come back to bed so we can get some sleep.”
Hynes was quick to comment on Bennett’s post. “Last slide got me hahaha love you big boy.”
Bennett’s husband, Jaymes Vaughan, commented, “Happy Happy T Money.” Hynes responded, “gracias papi.”

In an interview from October 2024, Bennett opened up to GLAAD about how “The Groomsmen Trilogy” came to be. He explained the concept was inspired by his own experience getting married and having been a groomsman in the weddings of several friends.
Bennett found it “really interesting” to explore the “real life story that happens in real life where gay men and straight men are best friends and they’re in each other’s weddings.”
Hynes, Bennett, and fellow co-star BJ Britt became good friends while filming the trilogy, and their friendship has continued far beyond the movie set.
