Jennifer Love Hewitt is looking better than ever.
On July 14, the 46-year-old actress turned heads on the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” debuting a striking new ginger hair color. Hewitt swapped her signature brunette locks for a vibrant redhead look that’s already winning over fans.
Hewitt first debuted the fresh shade in May, but this marked the first time she wore it on the red carpet, per Page Six.
Matching the hairstyle, Hewitt opted for a form-fitting black beaded midi dress by Rachel Gilbert and rhinestone-covered heels. She also accessorized with rings and bracelets.
This is Hewitt’s first red carpet appearance since the March 2024 premiere of “9-1-1.”

Many were quick to comment on her new look, including her “I Know What You Did Last Summer” co-star Tommy DiDario.
“Ravishing in red!” he wrote at the time. “Should I go red to match???”
Meanwhile, fellow actress Alyssa Milano is also a fan of her new hair, saying, “This is a yes for me,” along with a heart-eyes emoji.
An impressed fan commented, “And that’s exactly what you are! Sunset Lover.”
Another wrote, “Aging like fine wine,” while another chimed in, “Can you be any more beautiful?”
Hewitt Opens Up About Reprising Iconic Role
Hewitt is reprising her iconic role as Julie James, starring alongside Freddie Prinze Jr., who returns as Ray Bronson, in “I Know What You Did Last Summer.”
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter earlier this month, Hewitt admitted that at first, she was hesitant to return to the franchise.
“I wanted to make sure that she fit into the movie in the right way and that there was a reason for her to come back besides just the ‘90s nostalgia moment,” she told the outlet. “I wanted her part in the movie to matter and for the audience to feel like they were proud of who she has become.”
“I Know What You Did Last Summer” is slated to be released on July 18. Some of the new cast includes Madeline Cline, Gabbriette Bechtel, Chase Sui Wonders, Austin Nichols, Jonah Hauer-King, Tyriq Withers, and Billy Campbell.
