It’s no secret that Jack Wagner is a daytime TV heartthrob who’s known for his bold characters who loves to steal the spotlight. But, his real-life love story with singer-songwriter Michelle Wolf might have just stolen that title! The couple went viral after announcing their marriage and sharing details about the big day. As expected, their wedding was pure magic! According to the actor, it was filled with love, laughter, and it even included a surprise from none other than Katy Perry. Well, sort of!
The 65-year-old, best known for his roles on “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “General Hospital,” married Wolf on May 18, 2025, at the Bel-Air Country Club in Los Angeles. The couple exchanged vows in an intimate and loving wedding ceremony surrounded by 40 close friends and family. This included Wagner’s son Peter and Wolf’s daughter Ornella. Several co-stars also attended the couple’s celebration, including actress Lori Loughlin.
As the newlyweds made their way down the aisle, Wolf had a little musical surprise cued up, shocking guests. Yes, Katy Perry’s 2024 single “Lifetimes” started blasting the speakers! Talk about an amazing song choice to get the crowd going!
“As soon as we were married and coming back down the aisle, she chose that new Katy Perry song,” Wagner told TODAY in a post-wedding interview. He even sang a few lines of the track during the chat, saying the song perfectly matches Wolf’s energy and personality. “Michelle’s just this vibrant spark plug,” he gushed.
A Celebration Straight Out of a Jack Wagner Rom-Com
If the entrance music was straight from the pop charts, the couple’s first dance was pure classic cinema. Wagner and Wolf swayed to “It Had to Be You,” famously featured in the hit film “When Harry Met Sally.” But unlike the slow, tender start of most wedding receptions, this one quickly turned from sweet to electric, fast.
“Michelle just yelled, ‘Let’s dance!’” Wagner told Us Weekly. “From that point on, it’s a three-hour dance fest. Everybody was jamming, and it turned into a real celebration.”
Wagner wasn’t exaggerating. The reception quickly became what he lovingly called a “rock fest,” thanks in part to Wolf’s background. A veteran singer who has toured with legends like B.B. King, James Ingram, and Rufus, Wolf knew exactly how to get the party started. With her musical instincts and natural effervescence, she brought the house down…figuratively, of course.
Faith, Family, and a Little Bit of Funk
The ceremony itself was deeply personal. The couple incorporated several gospel readings, and both families were involved in the celebration. “We did it!!!!!! MARRIED in front of our little family!!” Wolf wrote on Instagram, confirming the nuptials.
After heartfelt speeches from loved ones, the newlyweds headed off for a romantic honeymoon through the Amalfi Coast and Naples. As fate would have it, Wagner is now getting ready to reprise his role as Nick Marrone in “The Bold and the Beautiful.“
And while the ceremony was full of glamor and celebration, Wagner credits the strength of their relationship to something much more grounded.
“When you get older and you’re in relationships, it’s about problem-solving skills,” he told Today. “She lets things go. Me being the dramatic person, she helps me let it go.”
It’s no wonder the couple had the time of their lives. As Katy Perry sings in “Lifetimes,” “Baby, you and me for infinity/ My eternity, yeah (my eternity)/ I’ll love you for, I’ll love you for life/ Lifetimes.”
For Wagner and Wolf, the music didn’t just play, it told their story.
