The Hallmark Channel’s newest movie, “Hearts Around the Table: Shari’s Second Act,” premieres on Saturday, March 29, at 8 p.m. Eastern/ 7 p.m. Central. ‘Shari’s Second Act’ Was Filmed in Ontario, Canada
The second installment in the “Hearts Around the Table” franchise, “Shari’s Second Act,” was filmed in the Ontario, Canada, region, just like “Jenna’s First Love.”
The set of movies was originally called “The Hearts of Robin Lane,” but the name was changed to “Hearts Around the Table.” Orillia Matters reported that some scenes for “Shari’s Story” (now called “Shari’s Second Act”) were filmed near Dorian Parker Centre.
Morgan posted a picture with her co-star Kathryn Davis, commenting “Only sisters laugh this hard!” (Morgan’s Instagram photos and videos are not embeddable, but she shared more behind-the-scenes moments on her Instagram account.)
Mindy Cohn filmed a funny behind-the-scenes reel on her Instagram while filming the series, but only posted it a couple of days ago. “A touch of tomfoolery, making my crew laugh and a bit of stuntwork…these are a few of my favorite things on a set…” she wrote.
Reddit user rsttstnnr expressed their excitement for the movie and wrote: “I LOVE Mishael Morgan! I hope she does more Hallmark movies.”

Hallmark’s synopsis reads: “Shari just moved back to D.C. after a breakup and hopes to start painting again. Inspiration hits when she meets Evan, a repairman who winds up actually being a gallery owner.”
Emmy Award-winning actress Mishael Morgan, who plays Shari, initially wanted to be an attorney, but an accident that left her with a broken neck changed her path. Morgan plays Shari in the movie. She’s well known for her roles as Hilary and Amanda on “The Young and the Restless.” She also has appearances on “Chicago Med,” “Most Dangerous Game,” “Supernatural,” “Republic of Doyle,” and more.
Brendan Morgan is Evan in the film. According to his bio, his TV debut was on “Bachelor in Paradise Canada.” SInce then, he’s had roles on “The Big Cigar,” “The Handmaid’s Tale,” “Meet Me Next Christmas,” “Second Guessing Fate,” and more.
