Things are going to look a bit different on Hallmark this week, after the network announced a last-minute change to its schedule. A major premiere is happening a day earlier, so you may want to change your plans accordingly. Here’s what Hallmark viewers have to look forward to for February 3-9.
Hallmark Channel’s Premieres This Week Look Different
The Hallmark Channel will be airing its premieres in a different order this week.
‘When Calls the Heart’ Airs a Day Early on Saturday Night, February 8
Hallmark’s hit show “When Calls the Heart” normally airs a new episode every Sunday night. But this week, Hallmark decided to move season 12 episode 6, called “When Autumn Leaves Begin to Fall,” to Saturday night rather than Sunday night.
This is because the Super Bowl is airing on Sunday night, and no one wants to compete against such a powerhouse event.
While Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart social accounts haven’t announced the change (as of the time of this article’s publication), the special airing time is already noted on Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart webpage.
Instead of Sunday night, the new episode will air Saturday night, February 8, at 10 p.m. Eastern/9 p.m. Central — immediately after the new movie premiere.
This means it will also be available a day early on Hallmark+, streaming on Sunday rather than Monday. The episode also marks Melissa Gilbert’s first episode with the show!
This week’s synopsis reads: “When Allie and Oliver discover a threat, Rosemary invites the kids to debate Lucas on the radio. Bill interrogates a suspect with an old friend’s help. Elizabeth fights a cold.”
‘The Way Home’ Season 3 Episode 6 — Friday, February 7 at 9 p.m. Eastern
Hallmark’s hit show “The Way Home” is keeping its regular premiere schedule this week.
Season 3 episode 6, “Ain’t No Sunshine,” premieres on Friday, February 7 at 9 p.m. Eastern.
The synopsis reads: “Kat and Jacob uncover a dark moment in Port Haven’s past. Elliot reckons with his past and fate, while Alice worries about what her future might hold.”
‘The Wish Swap’ — Saturday, February 8 at 8 p.m. Eastern
Hallmark’s new Saturday night movie premiere continues as scheduled, just before the new “When Calls the Heart.” This week’s movie is called “The Wish Swap” and stars Emily Tennant and Jake Foy.
The synopsis reads: “When Casey and Henry celebrate their birthdays at the same restaurant, they make birthday wishes at the same time, which are granted. However, they end up getting each other’s wishes.”
Hallmark Mystery’s New Premiere This Week
After weeks without a new premiere, mystery fans are finally getting their wish this week.
‘Reality Bites: A Hannah Swensen Mystery” — Thursday, February 6 at 8 p.m. Eastern
Alison Sweeney, Victor Webster and Barbara Niven return for a new installment in the Hannah Swensen franchise.
The synopsis reads: “Hannah’s favorite reality show takes over The Cookie Jar. When the producer is found dead, Hannah and Norman team up to track down the killer. Chad invites Hannah to court.”
Hallmark+ Premieres This Week
Hallmark+ viewers won’t be seeing new exclusive content on the streaming platform this week. However, premieres that aired on the Hallmark Channel will be available for viewing the next day on Hallmark+. This means you can catch the new episode of “The Way Home” on Saturday on Hallmark+, “The Wish Swap” on Sunday, and the new “When Calls the Heart” on Sunday.
