Hallmark Channel is honoring Easter Weekend 2025 with the premiere of “Journey To You,” a new movie under its Dayspring brand, devoted to telling inspiring, faith-based stories. Starring longtime Hallmark actress Erin Cahill and filmed entirely in Spain, the movie premieres on April 19 at 8 p.m. Eastern time and re-airs on Easter night at 7 p.m. Eastern time.
But it’s not the only faith-based movie Hallmarkies can tune into during the holiday weekend. Hallmark has produced three Easter movies in recent years, and there are several ways to watch each one, including two with free online viewing this weekend. In addition, Hallmark+ is offering a 50% off discount to celebrate Cahill’s new movie. Good through April 19, enter the code Erin50 when subscribing to Hallmark+.
Hallmark’s ‘Easter Under Wraps’ Available to Watch Online for Free
Although Hallmark is known for its annual Countdown to Christmas programming, the network didn’t produce its first Easter movie until 2019, “Easter Under Wraps.”
Fiona Gubelmann and Brendan Penny star in the movie, about a woman named Erin who “goes undercover at her family’s chocolate plant to see why sales are down when she meets head chocolatier, Bryan, who has new ideas on how to update the Easter product line,” per Hallmark.
“Easter Under Wraps” is available to stream on Hallmark+. In addition, Hallmark Channel will air the movie on April 20 at 3 p.m. Eastern time. But if neither of those options work, Hallmark+ has also posted the movie on YouTube, available to watch online for free, as seen above.
‘An Easter Bloom’ is Also Available to Watch For Free Online
Hallmark+ has also posted the full version of another Easter movie on YouTube, 2024’s “An Easter Bloom,” starring Benjamin Hollingsworth and Aimee Teegarden.
According to Hallmark’s synopsis, Teegarden plays “a young gardener” who hopes to “save her family farm by entering a floral competition for Easter. She meets a local pastor along the way who helps her restore the hope she lost.”
In addition to being available on YouTube, “An Easter Bloom” can be streamed on Hallmark+ or watched via Hallmark Channel on April 19 at 6 p.m. Eastern time.
‘The Blessing Bracelet’ Premiered On Easter in 2023
Although “The Blessing Bracelet” doesn’t include “Easter” in its name, the religious holiday is definitely part of the 2023 Dayspring movie, starring Carlo Marks and Amanda Schull.
According to Hallmark’s synopsis, Schull plays Dawn Spencer, who “approaches the Easter holiday trying to balance being a single parent while working to get out of the debt left behind by her ex-husband. Feeling overwhelmed, Dawn unearths a bracelet she made years earlier and stored away. She created it using four beads with the intention of using each one as a reminder to count the blessings in her life.” As Dawn begins to focus on the good, leans on her church community, and gets to know Ben, played by Marks, her “faith is renewed, and her life takes a positive turn.”
Based on a true story, “The Blessing Bracelet” will re-air on Hallmark Channel on Easter Sunday at 1 p.m. Eastern time. It’s also available to stream via Hallmark+, which new subscribers can watch with a seven-day free trial. Using the Erin50 code mentioned above will save subscribers a pretty penny, too.
