‘Deck the Walls’ Was Filmed in Utah

While most Hallmark movies are filmed in Canada, the newest film is an exception. According to the Utah Film Commission, “Deck the Walls” was filmed in the state. Filming wrapped in mid-September.

Danny Pellegrino took to Instagram to announce the movie by saying: “I’ll probs keep pestering you all to watch! It really is sooooooo cute and I’m incredibly proud at how sweet and romantic and funny it turned out!!!”

Pelligrino told EntertainmentNOW that he always dreamed of writing a Hallmark script and when he finally got this opportunity, he also auditioned for the role of Sal, which he’d based on himself.

When he got the part, filming the movie in Utah with Wes Brown was a dream come true for him, he shared.

“Knowing Wes as a fan and being in scenes with him, it was a little bit of an out-of-body experience,” he said.

Cora Bella posted about the film: “A huge thank you to @homegoods for their super sweet gift and support of my work! We’ve ALWAYS loved shopping at Home Goods and in my latest film I actually got to portray a fun shopping experience at one of their locations for which they sent a sweet little ‘thank you care package.’ Super grateful to say the least! 🙏🏽♥️☺️”

Bella is starring in the movie with her mom, Mia Marina, who tagged her in a post about how excited she was. “We are wrapping up filming and are so excited to share this feel good story with you all!” she wrote. The post also contains a few behind-the-scenes pictures.

“Like peas & carrots!” Marina shared in an earlier post about filming with her daughter. “We just got some incredible news that we will be working TOGETHER on a new network feature film releasing later this year! Being on set together might just be one of our favorite things! Thank you so much to our management teams and we can’t wait to share with you all once we can! ✨♥️✨”

The mother-daughter duo had a lot of fun together. “Mama & Coco Bellita fitted hard yesterday! What a blast playing dress up is! 🤩👗♥️ So grateful to be able to do these things together…how wild! 🥹🙏🏽” Marina wrote.
