Fresh off starring in his first-ever Hallmark rom-com, Danny Pellegrino just gave fans an exciting update on his own love story. On May 27, 2025, he revealed via social media that he and his partner of 15 years just tied the knot.
Pellegrino, a best-selling author and podcaster who wrote and co-starred in the 2024 holiday movie “Deck the Walls,” has not identified his spouse beyond his first name, Matt. The couple is having a banner year as they also await the summer arrival of their first child.
Captioning a series of photos from their nuptials, Pellegrino wrote on Instagram, “Life Update: After 15+(!!) years together and a baby on the way, Matt and I finally decided to tie the knot (I wanted to be sure)! We eloped at a place called Same Day Marriage and it was lovely and they had various cheesy theme rooms with word art and the website was on the sign and it was perfect and very us. x ❤️💍”

Pellegrino told EntertainmentNow in November that he’s “obsessed” with Hallmark Christmas movies and considers himself a “Hallmark junkie,” making the opportunity to write and star in one a “dream come true.”
When he posted his wedding news, the announcement had received nearly 40,000 “likes” within 24 hours, including from multiple Hallmark stars, including Nikki DeLoach, Rachael Leigh Cook, and Brant Daugherty.
His “Deck the Walls” co-star, Wes Brown, commented, “Honeymoon @ The Zermatt-hew!!!”
Known for his hot takes on Bravo reality shows on his “Everything Iconic” podcast, Pellegrino also heard from many Bravo stars, including “Vanderpump Rules” alum Ariana Madix, who wrote, “obsessed!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ and that place is a landmark in my world 😍😍 so perfect”

Danny Pellegrino Announced He’s a Dad-to-Be in December 2024
During 2025’s Christmas in July programming, Pellegrino will have to juggle watching his favorite Christmas movies with adjusting to being a first-time dad. In December, Pellegrino publicly announced his and his now-husband’s baby news on “The Drew Barrymore Show.”
“My heart’s racing right now,” he told Barrymore. “I’m very excited. I have a special announcement, it’s a good announcement. But, my better half and I, we’re expecting our first child this upcoming summer.”
Barrymore squealed and threw her arms around Pellegrino in excitement. He then told her that his goal for the 2024 holidays was to figure out traditions he and Matt want to build with their little one, including deciding on a favorite cookie recipe to bake year after year.
In May, Pellegrino shared a clip from “Deck the Walls” on Instagram to celebrate its re-airing, and hilariously wrote, “I know the hollywood industry is crumbling but I’m available to act and have a child on the way I need to pay for, so please hire me. xo”
