See Every Celeb Cameo in Hallmark’s 2024 Christmas Movies

One of our favorite things to watch for in Hallmark’s annual lineup of Christmas programming are the surprise celebrity cameos — mostly featuring the network’s top stars. The 2024 roster of appearances did not disappoint.

Check out details, photos and videos of all the fun cameos this year. You can also watch the full movies via Hallmark+ now that the network has added every new 2024 movie to the streamer.

Erin Cahill in ‘The Christmas Quest’

Hallmark fan favorite Erin Cahill wins the award for longest distance traveled to make a cameo! Cahill flew all the way to Iceland where Lacey Chabert and Kristoffer Polaha filmed “The Christmas Quest.” Cahill plays Joan Hamilton, an archaeologist who’s also the mom of Lacey Chabert’s character, Stefanie.

In an Instagram post about her cameo on December 23, Cahill wrote, “I got to do the most AWESOME cameo in this EPIC movie! Not only did I get to go film in Iceland, (which was so many dreams come true!), I got to play a female Indiana Jones type (again, DREAM!) and… I play @thereallacey ‘s Mom in a flashback sequence! Pinch me. And, to spend time with the one and only @polahaha there was magic! I only got to film a couple scenes with this wonderful crew, but it was better than I could’ve imagined.”

Wes Brown in ‘Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story’

We knew fan favorite Wes Brown would make an appearance somehow in the highly-anticipated “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story,” since he posted in July that he was on the set in Kansas City for an undisclosed role. Still, it was a total delight to see him playing a bartender, serving up holiday cocktails to Tyler Hynes and Hunter King’s characters.

Brown wrote on Instagram that he felt “blessed and honored” to be part of the movie and thanked the stars for “the opportunity to be a little piece of your Christmas magic.”

Brian Baumgartner in ‘Confessions of a Christmas Letter’

Seeing Brian Baumgartner reunite with Angela Kinsey in her first Hallmark movie, “Confessions of a Christmas Letter,” gave us all the feels! The co-stars from “The Office” share scenes in which he appears as Sam, an employee at the Holly Hills post office who is also a judge for the Holly Hills Wall of Fame letter writing contest. Kinsey told Entertainment Weekly that they “picked up right where we left off” on set.

“We’re good friends in real life,” she said, “so just getting to hang out with someone you love and getting to catch up — I got to hear about his family and he got to hear about mine. To spend the day together was just really special.”

Paul Campbell in ‘The Santa Class’

Paul Campbell’s surprise role in “The Santa Class” was more than a cameo, given how many scenes he had hilariously playing himself, but it definitely deserves a spot on our list.

As Benjamin Ayres and Kimberley Sustad (his real-life screenwriting partner) train a new crew of people playing Santa at events and malls, Campbell says he’s studying up for a role. He even gives a subtle nod to his “Three Wise Men” character, Stephan, in the scene above!

Jonathan Bennett in ‘Happy Howlidays’

We had a feeling Jonathan Bennett would show up in “Happy Howlidays,” since it starred Ezra Moreland — the winner of the first season of “Finding Mr. Christmas,” which Bennett co-created and hosted this holiday season.

Bennett appears as Troy, a man hoping to adopt a new dog from Moreland’s character, Max. He gets emotional, much like he did multiple times on the reality competition, and even amusingly refers to Max as “Mr. Christmas.”

3 Fun Cameos in ‘Sugarplummed’

We got surprised with not one, not two, but three cameos from Hallmark stars in Janel Parrish’s “Sugarplummed.” First, we were pleasantly surprised to see Fiona Gubelmann and Victor Webster feuding with each other during a mediation meeting with their lawyers.

But we also got a scene with Carlo Marks, in which he steps off an elevator to flirt a tad and hand Parrish a summons, revealing that her neighbors are suing her for taking a tree from their yard.

Brendan Penny in ‘Private Princess Christmas’

Last but not least, we loved seeing Brendan Penny pop up in “Private Princess Christmas.” He appears as an unhappy customer at the grocery store where Derek Klena’s character works. So fun to see him there in addition to his Hallmark Mystery Christmas movie with Julie Gonzalo, “A Novel Noel.”
