Hallmark Channel’s Christmas in July 2025: New Movies & Series Revealed

With one month to go, Hallmark Channel execs are making a list and checking it twice as they prepare for the network’s annual Christmas in July programming. But in 2025, the network’s summertime schedule of holiday movies and shows will start a bit later than usual.

In recent years, the on-air celebration has started on the last weekend in June, kicking off all-day Christmas movie marathons and new movie premieres each weekend. But in 2025, Hallmark will close out its June Passport to Love premieres with “A Machu Picchu Proposal” on June 28 and wait until July 5 to launch Christmas in July, according to its website. This year’s programming will include four Hallmark Channel movie premieres and two new holiday series.

Hallmark Channel to Premiere Its 4 ‘Unwrapping Christmas’ Movies in July

On May 30, Hallmark Channel dropped a 20-second preview video (above) that revealed some of the goodies it had in store for Christmas in July, including all four “Unwrapping Christmas” movies, which were only available to stream on Hallmark+ in late 2024. Here’s what the movie premiere schedule looks like:

  • JULY 5 at 8 p.m. Central: “Unwrapping Christmas: Tina’s Miracle” starring Natalie Hall and Alec Santos. According the synopsis, “Successful gift-wrapping shop owner Tina is in charge of planning this year’s annual Christmas gala. But things begin to go awry when the gala faces cancellation due to a scrooge-like estate owner.”
  • JULY 12 at 8 p.m. Central: “Unwrapping Christmas: Mia’s Prince” starring Kathryn Davis and Nathan Witte. The synopsis says, “Romance novel enthusiast Mia meets Beau, a dashing philanthropist, who is the spitting image of her favorite book hero. As they consider exploring a new romance, Beau’s mother has other ideas.”
  • JULY 19 at 8 p.m. Central: “Unwrapping Christmas: Lily’s Destiny” starring Ashley Newbrough and Torrance Coombs. Hallmark’s synopsis states, “With holiday responsibilities piling up, gift-wrapping shop owner Lily eagerly accepts a date with a handsome local realtor. But will he be the one that sweeps her off her feet?”
  • JULY 26 at 8 p.m. Central: “Unwrapping Christmas: Olivia’s Reunion” starring Cindy Busby and Jake Epstein. In the synopsis, it says, “Olivia, a creative gift-wrapping whiz, is determined to make it back home in time for the Christmas Gala after getting snowed in with her ex while delivering Christmas gifts.”

Hallmark Channel Fans Will Get to Binge 2 Holiday Series, Too

Hallmark’s Christmas in July teaser video also features brief scenes from two holiday series that will air during the programming stunt — “Holidazed” and “Christmas at Sea.”

On July 6, according to Hallmark’s website, the first two episodes of Hallmark’s star-studded series “Holidazed,” which premiered on Hallmark+ in 2024, will premiere on Hallmark Channel. Each Sunday night in July, two more new episodes will air at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Eastern time.

Erin Cahill swooned over the cast in November, telling EntertainmentNow that the show, which chronicles the lives of six families who live on the same cul-de-sac, featured 36 stars including Loretta Devine, Virginia Madsen, Dennis Haybert, and John C. McGinley.

Of her love interest on the show, she swooned, “Ian Harding, don’t get me started. What a dreamboat. He is, personally and professionally, like, everybody’s favorite person. If you meet Ian, you will love him. If you work with him? Like, you just pinch yourself.”

On July 7, Hallmark Channel will premiere “Christmas at Sea,” a brand-new unscripted series filmed aboard one of Hallmark’s first-ever Christmas Cruises last November. Variety reported in May 2024 that a film crew would be on the second cruise to the Bahamas, which sailed from November 17-21, to capture special moments with Hallmark superfans.

The Christmas in July preview included snippets from the new docuseries, highlighting interactions between fans and longtime Hallmark stars Tyler Hynes and Taylor Cole. Other Hallmark talent on that cruise included Jonathan Bennett, Benjamin Ayres, Wes Brown, Paul Campbell, Nikki DeLoach, Sarah Drew, Erin Cahill, Andrew Walker, and Kimberley Sustad.

The network hasn’t shared many details about the show, but its website says it will give viewers a look at how “Hallmark superfans celebrate the holidays aboard a Christmas cruise to the tropics, filled with festive fun and celebrity surprises.” The four-episode series is slated to air each Monday night in July at 8 p.m. Eastern time.

Viewers Can Vote on Christmas in July Movies for Fan Favorite Marathon

As in previous years, Hallmarkies will also get to cozy up with their favorite Christmas classics from Hallmark throughout the month of July. Plus, they have a say in which movies will air as part of the annual Fan Favorite Marathon.

Votes can be cast on Hallmark’s social media platforms and in its Hallmark Movie Checklist app, from a list of nominees.

Once Christmas in July ends, fans will be that much closer to Hallmark’s 16th annual Countdown to Christmas, which network execs have said will feature 4,000 hours of holiday programming, including the Hallmark Channel the season two premieres of “Finding Mr. Christmas” and “Mistletoe Murders.”
