With seven months till Christmas, Hallmark fans are already making their wish lists — including which holiday movie superstars they want to celebrate the season with. One event on many Hallmarkies’ lists is Christmas Con in New Jersey, where fans can ring in the season with the stars of their favorite holiday movies.
On May 9, 2025, organizers announced the first wave of celebrities confirmed to attend from December 12-14, including four Hallmark stars who will be Christmas Con rookies: Brendan Penny, Rachael Leigh Cook, Heather Hemmens, and Brandon Routh.
Tickets Are Going Fast, With VIP Passes to Christmas Con 2025 Already Sold Out

Other confirmed stars will be announced in the coming months.
According to a press release from event organizer Thats4Entertainment, Christmas Con was the first celebrity autograph convention specifically featuring the stars of holiday movies when it debuted in 2019. The first convention sold out and has since doubled in size.
Activities at Christmas Con typically include photo ops, celebrity panels, movie premieres, a holiday market, and an indoor Christmas tree lighting.
The top tier ticket package, with a full weekend VIP passes and swag bag, were already sold out on May 9, according to the Christmas Con website. Regular weekend passes were 90% sold out by that afternoon, according to Christmas Con’s Instagram feed, but individual day passes were still available.
Other Ways to Connect With Christmas Movie Stars
Although Christmas Con was the first, fan conventions for holiday movie lovers are growing in popularity. Hallmark kicked off its own version in 2024, with the Hallmark Christmas Experience, held four weekends in a row between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Nearly 40 Hallmark stars participated in 2024, with a different circle of celebrities featured each weekend. The event will take place again in Kansas City in 2025, Hallmark announced in February.
Hallmark also held its first two Christmas Cruises in 2024, where fans got to sail to the Bahamas with some of their favorite stars. They will set sail again in November, but the ship sold out in less than a day.
Another longtime fan favorite event, RomaDrama, has not announced plans for 2025 after its first-ever Halloween & Harvest Festival was canceled last fall due to hurricanes and a chemical plant fire in Conyers, Georgia. But several Hallmark alums including Ryan Paevey and Jesse Metcalfe will be nearby at the Christmas in a Small Town fan convention held from July 25 to 27 in Dahlonega, Georgia.
