Hallmark’s “Hailey Dean Mysteries” star Chad Lowe took to social media recently to share a powerful, yet heartbreaking, post about his family.
Lowe’s family lost their California home in January to the wildfire that ravaged significant portions of Pacific Palisades. He previously shared some posts about the loss of the home, but in his newest Instagram upload, he noted this was the first time his daughters had been back to see the site.
As difficult as the day was, Lowe marveled at how incredible his three daughters had been throughout this heartbreak.
Chad Lowe Praised the Spirit & Resilience of His Daughters
On February 2, Lowe shared a powerful post on his Instagram page. He explained, “Almost a month after we evacuated our girls finally got to go back to see what’s left of their home.”
He noted, “The way they’ve handled this whole devastating experience is nothing short of remarkable.”
As People noted, Lowe and his wife, Kim Painter, have three daughters. Their oldest, Mabel Painter, is 15, and their middle daughter, Fiona Hepler, is 12. The couple’s youngest daughter, Nixie Barbara, is 8.
Lowe included three photos in his Instagram post. Each of them showed the girls from behind as they took in the view of what used to be their home.
The third photo was especially powerful, as the girls stood close to one another as their oldest wrapped her arms around the shoulders of her younger sisters.
“I am in awe of their spirit and resilience. Helping them navigate these tough times is my sole purpose. Being their dad is my life’s greatest joy and privilege,” he added.
The Family Has Been Flooded With Love & Support
On January 11, Lowe shared the news of the family’s loss in an Instagram post. “This is what remains of 10 years of building our lives,” he wrote. The two photos Lowe included in his post showed that their home was completely lost to the wildfire.
Lowe’s post about his daughters prompted an outpouring of support from colleagues and fans.
“❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹 So sorry for your family,” wrote Kimberly Williams-Paisley.
Holly Robinson Peete added, “I am so sorry Chad😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨.”
“Your girls have great parents and role models and that’s all they need, ❤️❤️❤️” wrote a supporter.
Another comment read, “Awww I feel most sorry for the children in this situation! Praying for your whole family @ichadlowe. 🙏❤️🙏”
