Fans of beloved Hallmark star Brennan Elliott are relieved to see the actor looking healthy and content as he slowly re-emerges on Instagram, two months after losing his wife, Camilla Row, to gastric cancer.
On May 31, 2025, the star of more than 20 Hallmark movies and the Hallmark series “Cedar Cove,” posted a sweet photo of himself smiling with his arms around his kids, 12-year-old son Liam and 10-year-old daughter Luna. He captioned the photo, “Happy place! Period! Happy Saturday everyone!”
The upbeat post was Elliott’s third Instagram update in a week, letting relieved fans know that he’s finding the good after their family’s heartbreaking loss.

Three days before the photo with his kids, Elliott shared a selfie on May 29 that highlighted his toned, tattooed bicep, letting his followers know he was prioritizing self-care and staying strong.
Elliott wrote, “Don’t usually do this but need to give a HUGE shoutout to my brother from another mother and personal trainer @le13tony 🙏 I always say buddy I love ya when we meet to train and hate you when it’s over 😂😂 thanx my friend for always kicking my a$$ every week! C u later today!!”
That post was preceded by a May 23 selfie in which Elliott, looking healthy and rested, wished his fans a happy Memorial Day. Fans have been thrilled to see Elliott’s posts, with thousands liking and commenting on them after worrying about the actor and his family since Row’s death on March 22.
“My heart is full, just keep hugging those babies of yours,” one fan wrote. “One step at a time Brennan your beautiful Camilla is always with you three”
Reacting to the photo of Elliott with his kids, someone commented, “Wonderful to see your smiling faces 🙏” and another wrote, “So happy you are with your children. That’s a great picture to frame! ❤️🙏❤️”
Although it’s unknown if Elliott will be able to film any new Hallmark movies in 2025, he will appear with many of his Hallmark colleagues at Christmas Con in December, a fan convention devoted to holiday movies.

Row battled gastric cancer for eight years, becoming a fierce advocate for new research and increased awareness about the disease. A former clinical psychologist, she threw herself into exploring new treatments when she was diagnosed, while also being as present as possible for Elliott and her kids.
Elliott announced his family’s loss hours after Row’s death, writing that he knew she “would have wanted me to thank every person from all over the world who prayed for her over the last 8 years she suffered immeasurably trying to survive and live with #stage4gastriccancer”
On Mother’s Day 2025, Elliott shared a tribute to his late wife, writing, “As our journey goes on with out your physical presence I will always try with everything I have to keep your memory and love for these two little ones forever alive and present!!”
“They know how blessed they are to of been givin you as their mother,” the “His and Hers” star continued. “We miss you terribly and I will take them to your favorite restaurant tonight to celebrate YOU! And yes cards and everything cami!🙏☺️ the babies wrote you Mother’s Day cards! Enjoy the peace/love/joy and all the great dancing your doing. 😘”
