Two days after losing his beloved wife to gastric cancer, Hallmark star Brennan Elliott marked a milestone birthday, turning 50 on March 24, 2025.

Though the “His and Hers” star has not shared anything publicly since announcing his wife Camilla Row’s passing following an eight-year cancer battle, the beloved actor quietly acknowledged fans who’ve posted birthday greetings and deep condolences.

Fans Share Birthday Messages as Hallmark Channel Airs a Brennan Elliott Movie Marathon

In honor of Elliott’s birthday, Hallmark Channel aired a marathon of his movies throughout the day on March 24, concluding with “Marry Go Round” at 8 p.m. Eastern time. But the six back-to-back films took on special meaning as fans learned of his family’s loss.

Many fans created online birthday greetings for Elliott, tagging him in their posts. Despite his grief, he kindly let them know he saw their well wishes by reposting a dozen such messages in his Instagram Stories, without additional comment.

One fan message Elliott shared said, “”Have a good day. I know today will be a bittersweet birthday. Cami is your Guardian Angel & is celebrating your birthday from Heaven. Sending hugs & lots of love.”

Another greeting he shared featured animated balloons over a photograph of him that said, “Happy Birthday, Brennan Elliott! May God bless you and give you the very best!!”

Someone else posted a photo with Elliott at Christmas Con and wrote, “Happy birthday @brennanelliott2! 🎂🎁🎉 I have you in my thoughts & prayers as well! 🤍”

Elliott shared another fan’s photo of him at Christmas Con, which he last attended in 2023, that said, “Happy birthday Brennan! Wishing you a day of love, hugs, and peace.”

“Wishing you a great day,” another person wrote alongside a photo of Elliott, “knowing you are loved and appreciated!”

Two years ago, in 2023, Elliott shared a photo of himself with his kids — as seen above — and thanked fans for their birthday wishes before heading out with his family for a birthday dinner. Understandably, he did not share any celebratory messages or plans on his birthday in 2025.

A possible source of comfort for Elliott, who married Row in September 2011 and shares two children with her — Liam, 12, and Luna, 10 — may be revisiting his wife’s words for him on past birthdays.

On her private Instagram account in 2024, Row posted a photo of her husband and lovingly wrote, “Happy, happy birthday to this 🔥 one! Happy birthday @brennanelliott2, what can I say, you’re just my person. Through the impossible, you’ve shown your unwavering love and devotion to me. Thank you for being you- the best husband and dad ever. I am in awe of your heart and strength and you never cease to surprise me.”

Row included meaningful hashtags at the end of her post including #iloveyousomuch, #godisgood, “blessedandgrateful, and “livingmybestlife.”

In his tribute to her on March 22, hours after her passing that morning, “Heaven is a far better place with you in it my love. THANKYOU for being the best wife,mother and friend I’ve ever known. What you did for the #gastriccancer community was immeasurable, but what you did for me as a man will last forever. For any of you who met or knew her your life was blessed because of her presence.”
