Hallmark Channel’s “Providence Falls – Part One” premieres on August 2, 2025.

As EntertainmentNow reported in June, the “Providence Falls” time-travel trilogy, developed by actress and entrepreneur Joanna Garcia Swisher’s production company and filmed in early 2025, will premiere on August 2. According to Hallmark Channel’s schedule, the three-part special event will air each Saturday night at 8 p.m. Eastern time.

The mini-series, an adaptation of Jude Deveraux and Tara Sheets’ “Providence Falls” book series, stars Hallmark newcomers Katie Stevens and Lachlan Quarmby, as well as Evan Roderick, who’s quickly become a familiar face to Hallmarkies, with starring roles in 2022’s “Autumn in the City,” 2023’s “Sealed With a List,” 2024’s “Leah’s Perfect Gift” and as Arthur in the new “Aurora Teagarden” movies.

Set in Ireland in 1844, the trilogy follows Quarmby’s character, Liam O’Conner, “a rogue and a thief who falls in love with Cora McLeod,” played by Stevens, “a fiery but sheltered aristocrat’s daughter, who is promised in marriage to a man she barely knows,” according to the synopsis. Here’s a breakdown of each of the three movies airing in August, per Hallmark:

“Providence Falls: Chance of a Lifetime” — August 2 at 8 p.m. Eastern time: In part one, “Cora, a newbie police detective, is partnered with visiting detective Liam on her first case. Little does she know, Liam is her reincarnated love, here to change her fate.”

“Providence Falls: An Impossible Promise” — August 9 at 8 p.m. Eastern time: In part two, “Detectives Cora and Liam must solve a murder. Meanwhile, despite Liam’s hidden love for Cora, he pushes her toward DA Finn Walsh, her fated match, in order to change their destinies.”

“Providence Falls: Thief of Fate” — August 16 at 8 p.m. Eastern time: In part three, “Detectives Cora and Liam close in on solving their murder case and rebel against the angels, choosing to take fate into their own hands.”

“The Chicken Sisters: Season 2” — Premieres August 10 at 8 p.m. Eastern time. If you’re not caught up on season one of “The Chicken Sisters,” you have a few weeks to do so before season two kicks off on August 10 (it aired in the spring, but is available via Hallmark+).

The all-star cast, which includes Lea Thompson and Wendie Malick, has said on social media that you can dive right into season two without having watched the first season, but with all sorts of funny and relatable family drama, it’s worth your while. Plus, you can stream the season on Hallmark+, which is available for $3 a month for 3 months right now.

The second season, according to Deadline, “follows Amanda, Mae, Nancy and Gus as they use The Chicken Sisters restaurant to officially put a generations-long feud to rest, while Frank Jr. begins another by opening a Mr. Chicken’s Cluckery on Merinac’s Main Street.”

According to the logline for this summer flick, “Nora discovers the best ice cream and hopes to land them as a client. Her sweet dreams hit a snag when her former colleague James has the same idea. Old sparks begin to melt the frosty tension.”

“Catch of the Day” — August 30 at 8 p.m. Eastern time Michael Rady and Emilie Ullerup will both make their Hallmark returns after nearly two years. They’ll be joined by Food Network celebrity chef Katie Lee Biegel, making a cameo. She also wrote the screenplay with some help from “Dateline NBC” correspondent Andrea Canning, who moonlights as a Hallmark screenwriter. According to Hallmark’s synopsis, “On the eve of becoming a NY executive chef, Sophie returns home to help her family’s flailing restaurant and runs into Cam, an old crush who makes her question everything.”
