Kissing Hallmark Channel’s leading men is all in a day’s work for actress Ashley Williams, who’s starred in more than a dozen Hallmark romances, including 2015’s “October Kiss” opposite Sam Jaeger and 2020’s “Never Kiss a Man in a Christmas Sweater” with Niall Matter.
But during the “Look Behind the Lens” celebrity panel she hosted at the final Hallmark Christmas Experience weekend in Kansas City, Williams had the crowd rolling as she revealed which Hallmark hunk’s kiss made her weak in the knees. On January 4, 2025, she shared an Instagram video of her hilariously sharing the inside scoop on her swoon-worthy kissing scene with close friend Andrew Walker in 2024’s “Jingle Bell Run.”
“Seriously you guys do I have the best job in the world or whaaaaat,” she wrote in the caption.
Ashley Williams Says She ‘Literally Lost Time’ After Andrew Walker Kissing Scene
Williams, who’s married to film producer Neal Dodson, is so accustomed to locking lips with Hallmark hunks in her movies, those scenes are typically are no big deal to the seasoned actress. So when it came time to film a kissing scene with Walker, she thought nothing of it.
In the Instagram video she shared, Williams is seen telling the audience, “I have been married for 20 years. I was not even excited for this kiss.”
Williams continues, “Because, by the way, Andrew Walker is one of my best friends, and he’s best friends with my husband, and his wife is one of my best friends! Right? So I’m like, ‘Yeah, yeah, yeah, it’s fine, it’s fine.'”
“So we get to the moment and he, like, grabbed my waist, and I just went uhhh,” Williams explains, hilariously reenacting how she melted after their kiss, so much so that director Lucie Guest noticed.
“I literally lost time, I had no idea what’s happening,” Williams laughs in the clip, “and the director came up to me, she goes, ‘You ok? You ok?'”
“And I go, ‘He’s a really good kisser,'” Williams admits, “and she goes, ‘We can tell!'”
The audience erupted in laughter over Williams’ story in the video she shared, and social media followers flooded her post with reactions — including Walker’s wife, Cassandra Troy, who left three rolling-with-laugher emoji in the comment section.
Williams’ sister, actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley also commented, “😂😂😂 Amazing.”
Guest also confirmed the on-set moment, writing, “😂😂😂 FACTS 🔥”
Lots of fans delighted in Williams’ story, including one who wrote, “So hilarious! I was wondering how that went with you all being such close friends. Now I know! 🤣👏👏👏 That dance scene was very steamy as well. 😏😁”
Andrew Walker & Ashley Williams on How Their Kids Reacted to Their Kissing Scene

In November, ahead of the “Jingle Bell Run” premiere on Hallmark Channel, Walker told People that it’s tougher to share kissing scenes with a dear friend like Williams.
“I’m used to it now but we had our kissing scene at the end of last week,” Walker said, “and it’s always more strange to do it when you know somebody so well. And I know her husband so well, we’re very good friends.”
The two families are neighbors in Los Angeles and even their sons, who are friends, thought the required smooch was weird, Walker revealed to the outlet. Walker and Troy are parents to West, 9, and Wolf, 5, while Williams and Dodson have Gus, 10, and Odie, 7.
During the joint interview with Williams, Walker told People, “West was in the car and said, ‘So, Daddy, I was talking to Jonah and Jonah said that you and Gus’s mommy are going to be making out in your next movie!'”
Laughing, Williams exclaimed, “The 9-year-old gossip train! We made it on there! The fact that they said ‘making out’ makes me think that they don’t understand at all.”
“Jingle Bell Run” is scheduled to air again on Hallmark Channel on February 7 at 7 p.m. Eastern time. It’s also available to stream via Hallmark+. Williams can also be seen hosting Hallmark’s new dating show, “Small Town Setup,” which began streaming on January 2.
