Hallmark reunited Andrew Walker, Tyler Hynes, and Paul Campbell for the movie “Three Wiser Men and a Boy,” the sequel to “Three Wise Men and a Baby.”
Recently, the three men opened up about what it’s like working together on set. They have a blast working together, although they admit it can be hard to keep a straight face. At one point, Hynes recalled one specific scene during filming where he started crying as Walker filmed.
Tyler Hynes & Paul Campbell Couldn’t Keep It Together
On November 23, the three Hallmark stars talked to Us Weekly and told some tales from the set.
Hynes shared that one time, Walker was “Learning his lines and he was doing his thing and he was battling, trying to remember his lines.”
As Campbell and Hynes watched Walker, Hynes admitted, “We were just crying, watching our friend try to figure his way through it.”
He continued, “I was crying watching Drew try to find his lines. Paul was crying. And once we start doing this, it doesn’t end.”
The actor admitted that when he works with Walker and Campbell, he finds it “hard” to stay in character. “It’s these little things [Walker] does that break us,” Hynes added.
The Men Share a ‘Perfect Chemistry’
While talking to Us Weekly, Hynes shared what it’s like for him to film with Walker and Campbell.
“I look over at [Andrew and Paul on set] and I think of all my childhood friends that I grew up with and all those dumb dumbs, and I’m like, ‘Imagine if they were in a movie with me?’ That’s what this feels like,” Hynes shared.
He also mentioned watching Campbell turn serious when he would begin to film scenes and admitted it’s “surreal” and “really beautiful” to him.
Hynes explained, “You’re also watching your best friends that you really truly love, apply themselves and excel at it.”
Campbell knew the scene Hynes talked about where he cried while watching Walker. He admitted, “We couldn’t get through it. My shoulders were shaking. I was laughing so hard.”
For his part, Walker feels the same way about his friends and co-stars. “Paul and Tyler kill me. They are so funny together.”
He added that although they are all quite different from one another, “We just kind of give each other the space and I don’t think anyone’s stepping on anybody’s toes. It’s just the perfect chemistry.”
