Season 8 “Dancing With the Stars” champ Shawn Johnson has teamed up with Beam to collaborate on a “all-in-one superpowder” for kids.
Beam Kids “delivers 40+ essential ingredients to support kids’ growth, immunity, digestion, and focus—all in a delicious chocolatey flavor kids will love.” Johnson and her husband, Andrew East, worked in tandem on the project, which officially launched on February 11.
EntertainmentNOW! reached out to Johnson to ask some questions about the new product.
Shawn Johnson Has Seen a Positive Change in Her Children After She Introduced Beam Kids to Their Daily Routines
Jessica SteddomJohnson and East are parents of three children, Drew, Jett, and Bear. Johnson and East have introduced Beam Kids to both Drew and Jett and have already seen a difference in their overall well-being.
“They haven’t had any tummy troubles and we’ve seemed to be able to fight off sickness a lot better than we were before incorporating it daily,” Johnson tells EntertainmentNOW! exclusively.
“Honestly I’ve noticed a difference in me too because I’m no longer stressing that my kids are getting all their vitamins, especially during sick season. My kids ask for a cup of their ‘chocolate milk’ every day and it’s the best feeling knowing they’re getting over 40+ nutrients every single time,” she added.
Shawn Johnson Shares Suggestions for Picky Eaters
Jessica SteddomMany parents know that getting kids to try new things can be tricky. However, Johnson worked hard to perfect the flavor and texture of Beam Kids.
“I would start by mixing it with milk, that’s our kids’ favorite way to drink it! With milk or water it mixes really well and isn’t chalky or gritty or else my kids definitely wouldn’t drink it,” Johnson suggests.
“Right now we’ve just released the chocolate milk flavor and the feedback has been amazing but yes, we will definitely be releasing more flavors in the future that we’re really really pumped about! Stay tuned, it’s another flavor all kids love (and parents, too!),” she teased.
It seems as though Johnson and Beam’s partnership as just beginning as the former athlete shares what’s to come.
“We have a big vision for how we can reimagine the children’s supplement category. We are super focused on making this initial launch of Beam Kids wildly successful on all fronts, but feel this is just the start,” Johnson explained.
“We’re on a mission to bring the highest quality products that are equally delicious to the homes of so many parents who struggle with the all too common problem of picky eaters,” she added.
Shawn Johnson Loved Working With Andrew East on This New Product

“Andrew and I have been working together for over nine years and I can confidently say this collaboration was one of the most meaningful projects we’ve ever worked on together,” Johnson told us.
“Getting to create a high-quality product to share with the world has been a dream come true. It’s an incredible feeling knowing we’re sharing something our family genuinely incorporates into every single day and loves so much. We’re so grateful to the whole Beam Kids team for making our idea into a reality!” she added.
