The tributes continue to pour in for actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner after the news of his tragic death on July 20. He was 54. Among those grieving the loss of “The Cosby Show” star is “Dancing With the Stars” season 6 contestant Marlee Matlin.

Marlee Matlin Pays Tribute to Malcolm-Jamal Warner

On July 21, Matlin took to Instagram to pay tribute to Warner. “I am so sad to read of the untimely passing of Malcolm Jamal Warner. He was the nicest guy and it was a privilege to have been in the same company with him, sharing a directors’ panel along with Howard Gordon and Michael Chiklis,” Matlin wrote.

She added, “My heart goes out to his family and friends. RIP Malcolm.”

Fans lit up the comments section of her post with messages mourning Warner’s passing, with one noting, “He truly was a great actor and figure to the world of television, who displayed such a poignant family, living with bold efforts and moving moments, even if it had some humor involved.”

Other ‘DWTS’ Family Members Share Tributes to Malcolm-Jamal Warner

Actor Brian Austin Green, who competed on season 30 of “DWTS” also shared a touching tribute to Warner.

In his July 21 Instagram Stories, Green wrote, “One of the nicest people I was ever honored enough to know. My heart goes out to your family.”

“Dancing With the Stars” co-host Alfonso Ribeiro also shared a beautiful tribute to Warner, someone who he has known and respected for a long time.

In a July 21 Instagram post Ribeiro wrote, “Goodbye my friend. I’ve known you most of my career. You’ve always held a very special place in my heart. We both grew up in NYC and performed at a very young age.”

He added, “I was always so proud whenever I saw anything you were doing. You will truly be missed. RIP MALCOLM.”

Fans flooded Ribeiro’s post with emotional messages about Warner’s tragic passing.

“Such sadness to hear about the passing of such a young and beloved man,” one fan wrote. “I followed him since ‘The Cosby Show’ and later in ‘The Resident.’ I always loved his performances. I hope he is now resting in peace, living in a different way in light and serenity. May God hold him in His glory.”

Others shared how much they felt the loss of the talented actor, with one person commenting, “Devastated to say the least” and another noting, “This is heartbreaking.”
