The October 24 episode of “Dancing with the Stars” is going to be a truly special one. All of the performances will tie into each contestant’s “most memorable year.” In addition, DWTS will pay tribute to the beloved late judge Len Goodman.

Some “Dancing with the Stars” fans have speculated there will be no elimination at the end of such an emotionally-driven evening. However, that is not known for certain yet, so fans will want to make sure they vote for their favorite pairs to ensure they remain safe.

The Len Goodman Tribute Should not Be Missed

According to ABC, the contestants will dance a routine “inspired by a pivotal year that held great significance in their lives.” In addition to the 10 couples hitting the dance floor, a large group of current and former “Dancing with the Stars” professional dancers will honor Goodman.

The late judge retired after season 31 and died less than six months later. The “Dancing with the Stars” mirror-ball trophy was renamed during the season 32 premiere to honor Goodman. In addition, now, the group of pros will perform to Henry Mancini’s “Moon River” in a performance to honor Goodman.

Both Julianne Hough and Derek Hough will perform in the piece, and pros Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy choreographed it. Former pros returning include Kym Johnson Herjavec, Mark Ballas, Maks Chmerkovskiy, Karina Smirnoff, and several others.


Week 5 ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Voting Happens Online & by Text

“Dancing with the Stars” fans can begin voting as soon as the episode begins. Voting closes just after the last performance in the Eastern and Central time zones.
