DWTS Alum’s Relationship Update Amid Wedding Pause

Season 32 “Dancing With the Stars” semi-finalist Charity Lawson and beau Dotun Olubeko are still engaged — and things seem to be going well between them.

“They say love is patient and kind, but true love is also surviving our stupid quirks, sharing the last slice of pizza (sometimes), and psychotically laughing at inside jokes no one else understands. Charity, you make every day brighter, funnier, and full of love. To me, love is simply you. Happy V-Day to my babygirl Miss @charitylawson,” Olubeko captioned an Instagram post on Monday, February 17.

“To infinity and beyond,” he added.

Lawson responded to the post in the comments section.

“OMG this is a solid roundup – your words never fail me, the way you have completely stole my heart from me ❤ i love you beyond,” she said.

Olubeko proposed to Lawson on the finale of her season of “The Bachelorette,” which aired in 2023.

Charity Lawson & Dotun Olubeko Put Wedding Plans on ‘Pause’

Although Lawson and Olubeko are very much in love, they have decided to put wedding planning on hold for the time being.

“We’ve taken a pause on it and I’m totally fine announcing that. I feel like people ask all the time, ‘How’s wedding planning? Or where are we at?'” Lawson told Us Weekly in September 2024.

“For me, I got in this space where I just felt this constant pressure of, like, I need to check off something every month or every week. And it got to the point where I’m like, ‘I don’t wanna do that right now.’ I’m also still just easing into life and normalcy again. Obviously, we’re still getting married. We’re taking a moment, taking a beat,” she explained.
