Country-music singer Tucker Wetmore is ready “to change up a couple of things” as he shares past experiences with dating blondes.
As reported by Taste of Country, Wetmore shared in a recent interview at “Taste of Country Nights”, a syndicated night show that airs on various radio stations nationwide, his new romantic moves.
“I’ve been known to like blondes,” Wetmore said. “Pretty much every girlfriend I’ve ever had was a blonde, and I think it’s time to change up a couple of things.”
Brunettes Have Entered the Chat
This April, Wetmore released his debut album “What Not To“. The 19-song record is home to his new song “Brunette“.
The lyrics to the song make a nod at brown-haired women as the lyrics read “Lord knows I got a type/ And there’s a few in here tonight/ Well, I’ve learned my lesson too many times/ Blondes like you put me through hell and I need something new.”
Wetmore’s “What Not To” album showcases some of the lessons the singer has learned throughout his life. In an Instagram post, Wetmore shared the records meaning to him.
“I’ve spent my whole life learning what not to do,” part of the caption read, “and thanks to you, I’ve had the opportunity to turn some of those experiences into my debut album.”
In Wetmore’s recent post on Instagram, the singer shared a video of him singing “Brunette”.
Fans took on the comments section shared their love for the song. One person commented “Finally a song for brunettes!”
“Can literally listen to this song all day everyday,” another fan shared.
Tucker Wetmore Has Never Been Broken Up With
In the interview with “Taste of Country Nights”, Wetmore shared more insight on his romantic life.
When asked if breakups are good for business as a songwriter, Wetmore shared he writes better songs when he’s heartbroken.
The country singer went on to share nobody has never ended a relationship with him.
“I have never been broken up with,” he said, “in my life.”
Wetmore’s Collaborations and Upcoming Performances
On May 8, Wetmore and Thomas Rhett, country-music singer, released their collaboration “Small Town Girls”. The song is featured in Rhett’s latest musical body of work “About A Woman (From A Small Town)”.
Wetmore will be joining Rhett on select dates for his upcoming “Better in Boots Tour” kicking off in June. The two will be making stops in various states such as Florida, Georgia, Utah and Virginia.
