Audrey McGraw will open for Brandi Carlile on tour this summer, and Tim McGraw shared a special message on opening night. The country music star took to Instagram with a photo carousel featuring images from the Royal Albert Hall performance. “Pure magic watching our baby girl up there!” he captioned the post.
Fans flooded the comments with positive vibes, and even Audrey herself responded to the sweet post. “Love you dad!!” the “I Am… I Said” singer wrote. Several netizens offered Tim congratulations on the momentous occasion. “As a long term fan of your music, can’t believe I saw your daughter perform live first!” one fan wrote. “She did amazing and is very charming.” Additionally, many others remarked on how much Audrey’s voice reminds them of her mother, Faith Hill.
Tim is Taking His Own Show on The Road This Year

Tim made the trip across the pond to see Audrey perform on opening night of Carlile’s tour, but he also has some U.S.-based shows of his own planned for later this summer. According to his official website, the “I Like It, I Love It” singer has multiple concerts on his itinerary, including a handful of casino performances.
One of the major highlights of his summer appearances will be an August 20th set at Iowa-based Field of Dreams, where Tim will headline a music event alongside several other country singers. However, his touring schedule is definitely sparser than in the past. After injuries caused him to end his 2024 touring season early, Tim returned to live performances in May 2025 with a set at Music City Rodeo in Nashville.
The Singer Has Hinted at Retirement

Audrey represents the next generation of music for the Hill/McGraw clan, and her rise to stardom coincides with Tim sharing his thoughts about a potential retirement. Earlier in 2025, his health issues led him to seriously consider giving up live performances. “There were times this year that I thought this might be it,” the singer told Tracy Lawrence on an episode of TL’s Roadhouse. “You know this might be time to hang it up.”
For now, Tim is making adjustments to allow him to keep performing. ” I have to be very careful about what I do,” he told Lawrence. He added that his movements have a lot more intentionality behind them than they once did. Despite likely not having a long future of live performances ahead of him, Tim is undoubtedly proud to see Audrey following in his musical footsteps.
