Tim McGraw Sports New Accessory on Trip with Faith Hill

Tim McGraw is sporting a telling new accessory that speaks to some of the health challenges the country singer has been going through lately.

A post on Tim’s Instagram account shows a picture of the “Humble and Kind” singer sitting with wife Faith Hill at an outdoor table at a cafe in Copenhagen, Denmark. In the picture, Tim’s hands are resting on a cane. The post’s caption reads, “Hangin with my baby in Copenhagen to see @audreymcgraw on tour with the fabulous @brandicarlile

While Tim McGraw makes no reference to his new walking stick, the singer recently pulled out of a planned July 21 concert as he apparently recuperates from back surgery.

McGraw was set to headline the inaugural Professional Bull Riders (PBR) “Last Cowboy Standing” competition in Fort Collins, Colorado, according to a press release. But post on PBR’s Instagram account now says country group Cross Canadian Ragweed will perform in his place.

The post reads, “Cross Canadian Ragweed will step in for Tim McGraw as he recovers from back surgery to open the Last Cowboy Standing Show on July 21 in Fort Collins — and we couldn’t be more thrilled.”

The post also states, “We’re sending our very best to Tim for a quick recovery and hope to see him at a future PBR event.”

Surgery Just Latest In a Long Line As Tim McGraw Faces Health Battle

While we don’t know when the back surgery the statement refers to happened, a joint statement from Colorado State University and PBR states it was “recent.”

It is evidently the sixth surgery Tim McGraw has undergone in the past year.

In May, McGraw was a guest on “The Bobby Bones Show,” where he told Bones that he has had five surgeries in the past “6 to 8 months” including three back surgeries and two total knee replacements.

“I’m on the upswing now,” he told the host of his recovery process. “You know, some mornings are good, some morning it takes a little while, but it’s getting there.”

“I’ve done a lot of rehab, a lot of P-T [physical therapy] and now I’m slowly getting back to a routine, very light, but you know, working my way up to it,” said McGraw.

“Can you get back to 100%?” asked Bones. “Hopefully close, hopefully close,” replied the singer. “Hopefully 100%, but we’ll see.”

Tim McGraw Releases New Duet With Barbra Streisand

Tim McGraw continues to make music despite his back and knee problems.

Near the end of June, Barbra Streisand’s “The Secret of Life: Partners Volume Two” album dropped featuring a duet with Tim. On Instagram, Tim wrote, “Today is the day! Beyond honored to be asked to be a part of this special project with so many amazing artists. Thank you to the incomparable @barbrastreisand for asking me to sing with her. Our duet “I Love Us” is out now!”

Famous friends like Martina McBride, Rita Wilson and Richard Marx were quick to offer encouragement in the post’s comments.

Tim also got love from his daughters. Oldest daughter Gracie McGraw commented with “🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥”

Youngest daughter Audrey McGraw dropped emojis, “❤️🙌”

Tim McGraw & Faith Hill Travel to Support Youngest Daughter

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill were in Denmark to support youngest daughter Audrey McGraw’s skyrocketing music career.

Audrey is currently opening for singer Brandi Carlile on her “The Lost Time” Tour. Audrey and Brandi Carlile performed in Copenhagen June 30 before moving on to Oslo, Norway. The tour will be winding its way through Europe through July 14.
