Thomas Rhett Teases Mysterious Collaboration in Hilarious 80s-Themed Skit

Thomas Rhett has all his fans scratching their heads, but for a good reason! The country star recently shared an ’80s-themed Instagram reel portraying himself as a disgruntled office worker learning about a new colleague.

The skit, featuring Rhett and his oversized retro glasses, ends with him exclaiming, “A new guy?!” Several fans believe the playful video hints at an upcoming collaboration, though details remain under wraps.

Fans React to Possible Collaboration

One user went on to say, “Please tell me this is a collaboration with POSTY!,” speculating that the feature might be with Post Malone. “THOMAS WHAT IS WITH THE 1980S VIBE?! WHAT IS HAPPENING??,” another one questioned.

This potential collaboration follows Rhett’s recent trend of reimagining tracks from his 2024 album “About a Woman.” Could it be that fans are getting new music from the country superstar? By the look of the feedback he’s been receiving online, fans would not mind at all!

Earlier this month, Rhett experienced a minor setback during a surprise performance with Forrest Frank at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. While making his way to the stage, he tripped down a small set of stairs, resulting in a sprained ankle.

Despite the injury, Rhett completed the performance. He later shared a humorous video on Instagram, showing his wife, Lauren Akins, pushing him in a wheelchair. Joking about the incident in the caption, he wrote, “@hiforrest told me to pull up and I left in a wheelchair,” as he is seen hobbling along the stage with what appears to be a swollen ankle.

Back on Tour!

The “Die as a Happy Man” singer is currently preparing for his “Better in Boots Tour.” Kicking off on June 5 in Rogers, Arkansas, and concluding on September 26 in Ridgefield, Washington, the tour will include stops in major cities across the U.S. and Canada. It is set to feature special guests Dasha and The Castellows. He will also host a highly anticipated four-night residency in December at the BleauLiveTheater inside Fontainebleau Las Vegas.

As Rhett continues to excite fans with new music and show snippets of silly and heartfelt moments, anticipation builds for the reveal of his mysterious collaborator. For now, we’ll stay tuned for updates on any exciting developments in his musical journey.
