NFL star Travis Kelce is magic on the mike, and that has fans of Taylor Swift wondering if he’s gotten a little coaching from his best girl?
Travis and his brother Jason Kelce are defending their karaoke title at the American Century Championship Charity Golf Tournament’s karaoke contest July 11-13.
Last year, the brothers owned the stage, belting out Whitesnake’s 1982 hit “Here I Go Again.”
The energetic performance was enough to clinch the win.
And now they’re back for a repeat.
But a preview performance by the pair seems to indicate that Travis has upped his game. And that has Taylor Swift fans asking if the Kansas City Chiefs tight end has gotten a little coaching up from his superstar singer girlfriend.
Travis and Jason Kelce took the stage at the Edgewood Tahoe Resort in South Lake Tahoe the night before the competition to give fans a preview.
A video posted on the pair’s Kelce Brothers Instagram page shows the pair belting out Bob Seger’s classic hit “Old Time Rock n’ Roll.”
Taylor Swift Fans Speculate on Singer’s Influence on Travis’ Vocal Stylings
Travis and Jason Kelce’s podcast production company New Heights also posted the video on its Instagram account, with the caption, “Those Kelce brothers know how to put on a show 👏🔥”
And that’s where Taylor Swift fans weighed in on Travis’ new skills, commenting, “Omg they killed it and yeah, Travis has a voice?! Has he been training with Taylor??”
A few commenters speculated, “Taylor has been giving Travis some voice lessons” and “Travs been getting some lessons from tay 🔥.”
And another commented, “Is it just me or is Travis’s voice getting better and better? 😉🫶🏻,”
One follower wanted to know, “Omg please tell me they practiced that infront of Taylor Swift😭😭😭”
And another enthused, “You can see what Taylor means when she says he turns everything into magic and happiness 🥰”
Kelce Brothers Are Teeing Up Before They Hit the Stage
Whether or not Travis Kelce has taken any singing lessons from Taylor Swift, the karaoke competition isn’t the only reason he’s in Lake Tahoe.
Travis and Jason Kelce are also participating in the main event, the charity golf tournament that started July 9.
In an video on the Kelce brothers’ Instagram page, Travis and Jason are seen hitting balls and signing autographs for fans on the course.
And they aren’t the only famous faces hitting the links in the tourney. According to the American Century Championship website, this year’s celebrity roster is a long one. Comedians Ray Romano, Colin Jost and Nate Bargatze are on the list. So are host Carson Daly and actor/singer Jack Wagner. Actors Alfonso Ribeiro and Larry the Cable Guy are teeing up. And NBA legends Charles Barkley, Grant Hill and Steph Curry are all participating, among others.
