“Happy’s Place” star (and this year’s ACM host) Reba McEntire gave fans a fun new detail to look for when watching the beloved sitcom. While speaking to Good Housekeeping, McEntire revealed details about heartwarming Easter eggs from the show’s set that fans can spot in the namesake tavern.
“The thing I love so much about the ‘Happy’s Place’ set — especially the tavern — is the memorabilia everywhere,” the country music star shared. She went on to explain that, as a way to make extras and other temporary cast members feel at home on the set, the sitcom’s team takes commemorative Polaroid photos of them to post around the tavern. Wondering where you can spot these photos? We have a hint.
Fans Can Catch Several Polaroids Near a Neon Sign

One of the greatest things about Easter eggs is the satisfaction you feel when you spot one. However, with a set as heavily decorated as “Happy’s Place,” this can be a little challenging. Luckily, some social media posts have given fans hints of where to find the photos McEntire revealed. For example, in an Instagram post co-star Melissa Peterman posted, fans can catch a clear glimpse of several of these cast Polaroids right next to the set’s neon “Beer On Tap” sign.
However, cast Polaroids in the tavern aren’t the only Easter eggs fans can be on the lookout for during episodes of “Happy’s Place.” As McEntire shared, there are also some personal touches hidden in Bonnie’s father’s home. The country singer gave production designer Glenda Rovello some real-life pictures of her own to display around the fictional house.
McEntire Said 1 Prop Looked Surprisingly Familiar

The “Happy’s Place” crew have clearly gone the extra mile to make the set feel homey, but as McEntire shared with Good Housekeeping, one particular prop let her take a step back in time. “In Happy’s house, there was a little box and it had shells all around it,” the singer said, noticing that the box looked very familiar. “I looked at it, took a picture of it and sent it to my sisters. I said, ‘Didn’t Mama have a box just like this?'”
One of McEntire’s sisters, Alice Foran, replied that the box did indeed resemble something from their mother’s home. “She said there was one in Mama’s house, right there by her sewing machine,” McEntire explained.
