As fans await the new Morgan Wallen album, “I’m The Problem,” the country music star keeps them hooked with steady updates. On Tuesday, April 15, 2025, the singer took to Instagram to announce even more new music. This time, however, he had a familiar face by his side: Post Malone.
According to the post, the pair planned to release a new song, “I Ain’t Comin’ Back,” on Friday. Unsurprisingly, fans in the comments section were excited to hear a new collaboration from these two, who worked together on Malone’s ultra-popular 2024 hit, “I Had Some Help.” Several commentators said they couldn’t wait for the Friday release, and some called Wallen and Malone one of their favorite duos.
“I Had Some Help” Was a Huge Hit for the Pair of Singers

In August 2024, Holler shared that, during Wallen’s encore performance at Stagecoach, he brought Malone out on stage to perform “I Had Some Help” live for the first time. At that point, the song hadn’t been officially released yet, but it already had a cult following on social media.
Once it went live on airways, there was no stopping “I Had Some Help” from reaching stratospheric success. As Billboard reported, the song sat at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart for a whopping six weeks, which is a considerable achievement for any performer. Of course, that was just the start, with the track also earning multiple Grammy nods in 2024.
In an interview with Theo Von, Malone shared his feelings about his fellow singer. “He has such a great heart,” Malone said. “He gets into a little trouble [but] he’s got such a great heart, man. And I love that dude to death.”
Wallen Has Already Released Several Other Songs From His New Album

Although the Malone team-up is an exciting development for fans, this won’t be the first “I’m The Problem” track Wallen has dropped ahead of the album’s official release date in May 2025. As Billboard reported, the singer released “Just In Case” and “I’m A Little Crazy” on March 21, letting fans have a sneak peek at what they might be able to expect from the rest of the album.
In a statement shared by Billboard, Wallen reflected on the meaning behind the album’s title, explaining that he owns up to his sometimes problematic past. “I’ve spent the last 11 months really trying to figure out, ‘Do I still want to be the problem? Is it time to move past that phase in my life?’” Wallen said. “I think it probably is, and this might be the last time I get a chance to honestly say it.”
