Morgan Wallen’s Stadium Walkout With NFL Icon Has Fans Going Wild [VIDEO]

When Morgan Wallen takes the stage, fans always expect a full spectacle, and his iconic walkouts deliver just that. Since he began showcasing these epic entrance walks, they have become legendary moments in their own right.

The kickoff of his “I’m the Problem” tour on Friday, June 20, at Houston’s NRG Stadium was no exception. Starting the tour off in style, shortly after stepping out of his dressing room, the country star was joined by none other than NFL Hall of Famer and Houston Texans legend Andre Johnson. The moment lit up the venue’s jumbo screens as madness erupted from fans in excitement to see the familiar face.

But it didn’t stop there. Next up was Houston’s beloved philanthropist Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale. But no, Mack didn’t just come out empty-handed; he stepped in with a suitcase full of cash. You know, just a regular gift for a regular guy like Wallen.

As Jelly Roll commented under Wallen’s video, “Just when I think you can’t GOAT yourself anymore — you bring out Mack in Houston. CRAZZYYYYY.”

Touché.

Thanks to fans uploading the walkout video to TikTok, the moment went viral almost instantly. Fans were more than excited, thanking Wallen for continuing his tradition of unforgettable entrances. It proved once again that these simple yet powerful walkouts are just as iconic as his songs.

“That is my boy Andre Johnson 80,” one fan commented on the video.

“He got sooooo hyped and happy everyone was screaming for it too!” another one said excitedly.

Mack, known for his generosity and larger-than-life personality, brought local flavor to the tour kickoff. Johnson, on the other hand, reinforced Wallen’s deep ties to Houston’s rich football culture. The crowd roared as the three made their way onto the stage, setting the tone for an unforgettable night.

As expected, Wallen began his walkout with his usual intro song, “Broadway Girls,” which transitioned midway into his new track, “Interlude.” Clips of the walkout quickly spread online, sparking excitement from Houston locals and fans nationwide.

Wallen’s walkouts have become social media sensations; that’s more than a given. Past tour openers have included some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment. In Tampa, Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield made a special appearance, even joining Wallen on stage for a duet of “Whiskey, Whiskey.”

Icons Tom Brady and Mike Tyson joined Wallen for a legendary entrance at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium in August 2024, merging NFL quality with boxing legend status. “Imagine calling Tom Brady and Mike Tyson to ask if they’d do this……epic,” a fan said commenting on the video.

In Knoxville, Tennessee, Wallen walked out alongside football icon Peyton Manning, donning Manning’s University of Tennessee jersey. Yup, a proud hometown moment at Neyland Stadium.

Then came one of Wallen’s close friends, comedian Theo Von, who joined him in Louisiana at the Nissan Stadium. Fans obsessed over Von, thanks to his bubbly reaction to the walk, as he was seen jumping left and right behind Morgan. They were also joined by DeAndre Hopkins, adding another special touch to the night.

Dallas’ AT&T Stadium erupted when former Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman walked out with Wallen last Summer as well.

But, by far, one of his most memorable walkouts was in Kansas City, where he flaunted NFL star power alongside Chiefs champions Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Chris Jones. Can you imagine how that phone call went when Wallen told his tour managers that he wanted all three behind him? Oh, to be a fly on the wall.

What’s Next for Wallen’s ‘I’m the Problem’ Tour?

Wallen has rapidly risen to become one of country music’s biggest stars. His latest album release, “I’m the Problem,” is a sprawling 37-track album, which dropped on May 16th. It immediately claimed the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200, and has maintained that position for multiple weeks. It also became the current best-selling album of 2025. With raw lyrics, catchy hooks, and a blend of country grit and modern sound, the album has firmly cemented Wallen’s place in mainstream country music once again.

The “I’m the Problem” tour will span 20 stadium dates across 10 cities, running through September 13, 2025. The lineup of opening acts features heavy hitters like Koe Wetzel, Ella Langley, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett, Brooks & Dunn, and Gavin Adcock.

After what we’ve seen throughout the years, there’s no doubt in our minds that fans can expect high-energy performances filled with surprises, powerful vocals, and, yes, more epic walkouts. Whether the “What I Want” singer will continue inviting sports legends and local heroes on stage, well, remains to be seen. We’re excited, though!

One thing is for certain, though; his walkouts have become an integral and thrilling part of the tour experience. It’s a moment fans won’t soon forget anytime soon. Wallen isn’t just a country star; he’s a stadium phenomenon who knows how to blend music, culture, and local pride into moments that dominate both the stage and social media.
