Miranda Lambert has been along for the ride for Morgan Wallen’s “I’m The Problem” tour, joining him at several stops around the U.S. At a recent show, she surprised fans by joining forces with another country music star: Ella Langley. Concertgoers had a chance to see the pair perform Lambert’s fun 2019 hit, “Tequila Does.” After the show, Lambert posted a clip of the performance on Instagram, and fans are totally here for it.
“Such an amazing time last night watch[ing] this dynamic duo,” one fan wrote in the comments section. “Slay ya’ll Queens of Country!” said another. “My sister, Miss Ella Langley, y’all!” Lambert said at the end of the clip, highlighting just how close she and Langley have become.
The Duo Have Become Friends on And Off Stage

Lambert and Langley’s duet wasn’t their first time performing together. The pair blew ACM audiences away with a stunning rendition of “Kerosene” in May 2025. That performance also showcased their off-stage friendship, with Langley wearing a “Mama Tried” shirt as an homage to Lambert. The singers smiled throughout the performance and gave each other a warm hug afterwards. Later, Lambert shared an Instagram photo carousel with some highlights from the event, calling Langley, “My fellow dog-loving, country music soul sister.”
For her part, Langley said performing “Kerosene” with Lambert was a dream come true. “It felt like a 12-year-old kid living her biggest dream ever on stage,” the “Weren’t For The Wind” singer told People. “She stands up for herself, but she also stands up for others she believes in. And that’s just always been apparent by watching her as a young artist. So I’m really grateful to get to work alongside her.”
Lambert Presented Langley With Her First ACM Award

Lambert has warmly referred to Langley as her “sister” on multiple occasions, and she showed her some special sisterly love back in April 2025. Lambert interrupted Langley’s concert via video message to present her with her first-ever ACM award.
“You, my friend, have won New Female Artist of the Year,” Lambert said in her message. “We are gonna celebrate so big in Dallas, Texas. They ain’t even ready!” She also called Langley her “soul sister” and “partner in crime” in the video. An emotional Langley explained what the award meant to her backstage. “It’s like, every day of my life I’ve just prayed about this and thought about it,” she said. She would go on to win the most awards for any artist at the ACMs for 2025.
