Langley and Lambert have clearly built a warm camaraderie, and the “You Look Like You Love Me” singer isn’t afraid to admit that Lambert has been an important force in her early career. She recently told People that Lambert served as an inspiration to her early on, and that performing with her at the ACMs helped her get over some of the jitters she felt early in the event.

“She stands up for herself, but she also stands up for others she believes in,” Langley explained. “And that’s just always been apparent by watching her as a young artist. So I’m really grateful to get to work alongside her.” When commenting on what it was like to perform “Kerosene” with Lambert, Langley sweetly said: “It felt like a 12-year-old kid living her biggest dream ever on stage.”
