Luke Bryan Is Beach-Bound for 2026 Crash My Playa Festival

Luke Bryan is back and he’s ready to hit the beach!

The American Idol judge had to cancel several shows on his “A Country Song Came On” Tour after falling ill and losing his voice.

But Bryan is feeling better and not just ready to return to the stage.. he’s ready to hit the sand!

The “Strip It Down” singer is returning to Mexico for his 11th annual “Crash My Playa Music Festival” in January.

In an Instagram post, Bryan writes, “I know y’all have been waiting… @crashmyplaya coming January 2026. Stay tuned!” A “Save the Date” graphic lists the fest running January 15 through 18, 2026. It promises two nights of performances by Bryan.

In a press release, Bryan says of the beachbound celebration of country music, “Every year I’m blown away by how special Crash My Playa has become. From the beachside shows to the late-night hangouts, it’s one of the highlights of my year. I can’t wait to be back in Cancún with our fans and kick off 2026 in the best way possible.”

Luke Bryan’s Tour Will Keep Him Busy Most of 2025

Before Luke Bryan can get his toes in the sand, the singer has a long list of stops left on his “A Country Song Came On” Tour.

Tour dates run through early September. But even after his last show on the tour September 6 in Biloxi, Mississippi, the singer won’t be done.

Just a few weeks later, Bryan will circle back to his “Farm Tour.

That tour brings concerts to America’s farmers, setting up stages right in the middle of the farmland in small towns throughout the country. This year, Bryan expanded that tour, bringing three shows to California farmers for the first time in May.

It took 16 years for the tour to make it to the Golden State. But Luke Bryan says it’s been a long-time goal to bring the tour to California farms.

“With the farm tour being such a unique type of show in rural towns we have to be really intentional on where we go in order to have the best experience for the fans all while lifting up the farming community and what they do for our country,” said Luke on his website. “I have always wanted to raise awareness for the west coast farmer and I’m so excited to get to do that this year.”

He’ll stage his traditional fall leg of his “Farm Tour” with three concert dates in Wisconsin, Illinois and Michigan.

Bryan will then headline the Country Calling Festival in Ocean City, Maryland October 4 before getting a nice long break ahead of Crash My Playa.

Luke Bryan has delighted fans even when things don’t go his way.

During a recent concert in Rogers, Arkansas, Luke issued a full refund to the audience after deciding his performance wasn’t up to snuff.

Luke told the crowd, “I’m going to get real with y’all. This is the weirdest thing I’ve ever dealt with in my life. I cannot have my voice in this venue for some reason. It happens every time, I don’t know why. But you guys keep showing up year after year to see me put on a show.”

Bryan went on, “I saw Luke Combs do this a couple years ago when he was having a weird night onstage and I said, ‘you know what? That’s pretty cool.’ So I don’t give a d***, I’m gonna refund everybody their tickets tonight and we’re going to keep doing the d*** show, okay?”

During another tour stop, Luke forgot the words to his song “Strip It Down.” A video posted by an audience member on TikTok shows the singer stopping abruptly and confessing to the crowd, “I totally forgot all the words.”

Moments later, Luke exclaimed, “I got it!” and started singing again.

The fan who posted the video on TikTok, ariana.wh, captioned the video “luke bryan forgetting his own lyrics was definitely the highlight of my night😂”

And other fans agreed, commenting, “I love how realistic he is and not fake.. it’s more relatable 😌”

Another wrote, “and during one of his best songs💔💔” to which ariana.wh replied, “literally but honestly made it better”
