Country artist Lauren Alaina is feeling left out, and she isn’t trying to hide it.
Lauren posted an emotional video on Instagram revealing she’s “feeling sad.”
The star, who is 37-weeks pregnant with her first child, told the camera, “Ok, first of all, I just want to say, I’m at home watching the ACMs and I’m so proud of everyone tonight, everyone that’s performed, everyone that’s won. Like, I get so excited for everyone because I have the same dream, and I wanna be there and I wanna be getting these awards and having these performances and presenting the awards.”
The 30-year-old teared up as she continued, “But I’m home 37 weeks pregnant So I’m home this year and I just wanna be honest about something, I’m feeling left out. I’m feeling sad. I’m feeling so many feelings because I have this little girl in here, and I want her to dream big, and I want her to believe in herself and go for whatever she wants to do.”
Lauren Alaina Says She Feels ‘Left Behind’

Alaina was quick to note that her emotional response had nothing to do her feelings for her unborn daughter. She also noted that she recognized that she might “regret” posting the emtional video, but she wanted to remind people who have a dream that “It’s not a competition.”
“But if you feel like you want to be somewhere and you’re not there, I see you and I feel you,” she said.
