Koe Wetzel Welcomes Baby Girl With Longtime Girlfriend

Congratulations are in order for Koe Wetzel and his longtime girlfriend, Bailey Fisher, upon welcoming a baby girl.

The country music singer announced the birth of his daughter, Woods Madison Wetzel. Fisher revealed she was born on Friday, May 23, at 6:49 a.m., weighing 5 pounds, 11 ounces.

The couple had been relatively private about their pregnancy and their relationship, but decided to share the happy moment with fans this time around. Fisher had previously shared images on her Instagram at the beginning of the year showing her growing belly. Now, she has posted a tribute alongside a series of photos of baby Woods, writing, “My whole heart outside of my body💕.”

One image shows the newborn in a pink onesie with her name, lying next to a stuffed animal and surrounded by pink bows. The singer shared his own tribute to his daughter, showing him bonding skin-to-skin with his newborn. He captioned his photo, “The most beautiful thing these eyes have ever seen. The world is yours, Woods Madison Wetzel.”

“Congratulations, she’s perfect,” one fan said. Another one noted, “Congratulations @koe_wetzel! You’ve got a fishing buddy for life now.”

Wetzel previously canceled his appearance during the opening weekend of country star HARDY’s “Jim Bob World Tour.” The singer announced he had a “family medical event.” While no details were initially shared, fans speculated the cancellation was related to the upcoming birth of his daughter. This is due to the timeline of their earlier post this year.

Wetzel’s Rising Career and Raw Sound

Wetzel initially rose to fame in 2012 after forming the band Koe Wetzel and the Konvicts. They went on to successfully release their debut EP, “Love and Lies,” followed by the album “Out on Parole” in 2015. Since then, Wetzel has built an expansive discography. He’s earned well-received recognition for his blend of country, rock, grunge, and hip-hop influences.

The Texas native made a lasting mark on the country music world with breakout hits like “Sweet Dreams” and “High Road.” The latter featured country-rock newcomer Jessie Murph. She has been bringing Wetzel on stage for several shows to promote the track. Both singles charted on the Billboard Hot 100. His most recent album, “9 Lives,” which was released in 2024, debuted at No. 5 on the Top Country Albums chart. It also reached No. 15 on the Billboard 200, further enhancing his career.

Wetzel is known and praised at times for his candid exploration of themes such as personal struggles, hard living, and his genre-defying storytelling. His unapologetic style has earned him a very dedicated and growing fan base. Several have shown their support for the musician in every shape and form.

He recently made his debut at Stagecoach Festival, performing on the Palomino Stage. Wetzel delivered high-energy performances of fan favorites like “Damn Near Normal” and “Drunk Driving.” He received praise for both his stage presence and surprise guest appearances.
