Keith Urban Mails All His Awards to One Person

Country superstar Keith Urban’s stellar career has racked up plenty of awards for the singer, but you wouldn’t necessarily know that if you visited his home.

The singer recently appeared as a guest on the Australian radio show “Fitzy & Wippa With Kate Ritchie,” where the hosts asked Keith what he does with all of his awards.

At first, Urban made a joke out of it, saying he swaps out wife Nicole Kidman’s awards for his. “I just shut hers out and put mine there,” he laughed.

But in truth, the real answer is a lot more heart-warming.

Keith revealed that he sends most of his awards to his mom Down Under. “Over the years, I’ve sent a lot to my mom up in Queensland [Australia], she’s got them on display there, it’s really nice,” he said.

There’s One Award Keith Urban Is Holding Onto

While most of his awards may live on the other side of the world from Keith Urban’s Nashville home, there is one very important exception.

And that’s the recent Triple Crown Urban received at the 2025 ACM Awards.

The coveted Triple Crown goes to singers who win New Artist (Male) and Male Artist of the Year, along with the ACM Award for Entertainer of the Year.

“It’s one of the rare ones that I actually put on the piano. I don’t have trophies out anywhere, but that one I put on the piano in the middle of the living room,” he said on the “Fitzy & Wippa With Kate Ritchie” radio show.

And it’s no wonder that award gets special treatment. According to Billboard, only eleven other artists have won all three awards to qualify for the Triple Crown.

Not to mention, it took Keith 18 years to achieve it! Urban won top new male vocalist in 2001, male vocalist of the year in 2005 and 2006, and entertainer of the year in 2019.

In an Instagram post the night of the ACM Awards May 8, Urban showed himself holding the award alongside Nicole Kidman in their limo. He wrote in the caption, “TRIPLE CROWN !!! it was a surreal feeling and truly humbling honor to be recognized at the @acmawards last night, and a triple-sized, massive thank you to @megmoroney@chrisstapleton, and @brothersosborne for your insanely inspired performances last night during the show. I LOVED every second of it !!!”

Keith Urban’s High & Alive Tour Rolls On

Keith Urban’s current “High & Alive” Tour will continue to keep him far from that award and his Nashville home.

The tour has stops in the western U.S. through the end of July. But then Keith will be able to visit all his other awards (and his mom!) when the tour heads for Australia in August.

Urban will circle back on his “High & Alive” Tour, returning to the U.S. in late September starting with a show in Chicago September 25.

Tour dates run through October 17, when he’ll close out the tour back home in Nashville at Bridgestone Arena.

You’ll find tour dates and tickets here.
