Jelly Roll Cleared to Perform in Europe with Post Malone—A Major Milestone!

Good news for Jelly Roll fans, the country artist is heading overseas. The singer recently shared with fans that he has been cleared to travel to the United Kingdom for a pair of shows scheduled in London.

“Listen y’all, biggest announcement of my career. They are letting me come to England, baby. It’s happening,” Jelly Roll said in a video posted to Instagram. “I am playing Tottenham Stadium with Post Malone. The first night’s already sold out. I’ll be there. The second night is on sale.”

“It’s Happening!”

Jelly Roll is currently joining Post Malone on his “The BIG ASS 2025 Stadium Tour.” News of the London dates comes after questions were raised about whether the singer would be able to perform internationally due to his criminal record. While he has regularly toured across the United States and Canada, his past felony conviction has made traveling abroad, especially to the United Kingdom, more difficult.

The Tennessee native was arrested at age 16 and charged as an adult for aggravated robbery. He has repeatedly stated it’s a conviction that has long affected his ability to obtain a passport and perform internationally.

But, it was recently announced that it may soon change. On April 22, the Tennessee Board of Parole recommended that Gov. Bill Lee consider granting him a pardon. The recommendation followed a two-hour hearing, which included testimony from several supporters, including Davidson County Sheriff Daron Hall.

The final decision now rests with Gov. Lee, who will determine whether Jelly Roll will be officially pardoned. If granted, the pardon could open the door to more international performances, possibly extending his time on tour with Malone. Malone is currently scheduled to perform in countries including France, Germany, and Hungary. While it has not been confirmed if Jelly Roll will join him for other international stops, he is confirmed for two London shows on September 7 and 8.

Back on the Road!

Jelly Roll has long been candid about his past. In an interview with Billboard, he reflected on his teenage years and the impact of his conviction.

“I never want to overlook the fact that it was a heinous crime,” he said. “This is a grown man looking back at a 16-year-old kid who made the worst decision he could have made in life. People could have gotten hurt, and by the grace of God, thankfully, nobody did.”

“I was charged as an adult years before I could buy a beer, lease an apartment, or get a pack of cigarettes. I feel like the justice system at that point kind of parked me on my only set path,” he added.
