Ella Langley Shares Surprising List of Backstage Must-Haves

You’d probably think that country music stars make extravagant pre-show requests at concert venues, but Ella Langley proves that plenty of singers have simple tastes. In an interview with Taste of Country Nights, the “Weren’t For The Wind” singer gave fans a sneak peek at her backstage must-haves list, and its surprisingly relatable.

Among the easily accessible goodies Langley requests backstage are Cheez-Its, Red Bull, and Smart Water, and that’s just the start of the list. She also requests libations for her and her band, although they have different tastes. “”Whiskey and tequila for sure — I drink tequila and my band drinks whiskey,” she revealed. From the sounds of it, Langley’s backstage snack vibe would be very easy for fans to recreate at home.

Of course, no snack spread is complete without a sweet treat, and Langley revealed that she’s partial to Heath bars. When host Even Paul applauded her candy bar choice, the singer shared the unique way she loves to eat them. “You ever had one out of the freezer?” she asked. “Oh my God, I can eat ten of them things, like the mini ones, they’re the perfect size.”

This isn’t the first time Langley has shared a strong opinion on desserts. In a clip CMT posted, Langley participated in a rapid-fire “This Or That” segment featuring common desserts. At the end of the segment, one dessert reigned supreme: good old-fashioned fudge. “From Bass Pro Shops specifically, if I can have the option,” Langley said.

With a packed touring schedule ahead of her for summer 2025, Langley will have plenty of opportunities to enjoy her favorite backstage snacks. As her official website notes, live performances this year will include individual shows, festival appearances, and even a few stops on Morgan Wallen and Riley Green’s tours.

As of this publication, Langley’s last announced stop will be at Luke Combs’ Bootleggers Bonfire, an October weekend festival in Miramar, Florida.
