Ella Langley has made a name for herself in country music, but it appears she was always destined for the spotlight. In an exclusive interview with Taste of Country Nights, the singer shared that she was already on her way to fame in a different way. “I danced actually my whole life, all throughout high school,” she said.

However, Langley wasn’t just dancing as a hobby; her talent took her all the way to the top of some major competitions. “Won two state championships doing that,” Langley said of her early dancing journey. “So I’m always trying new stuff.” It wasn’t until high school that she took a serious interest in singing, a move that has since shaped her career. Like many singers, she got her start in local talent shows and playing at small venues in her native Alabama.

Fans can catch her grooving to her own beat when performing on stage, but she’s also showcased her fancy footwork on social media. In April 2025, Langley posted a TikTok clip of herself moonwalking.

The combination of effortless moves and fun, goofy facial expressions made it easy to see that Langley is a seasoned pro. Fans have also shared plenty of dance footage of their own from concerts, and the singer consistently looks perfectly at home combining two of her biggest talents.

As of July 2025, Langley has something new to sing — and dance — about. As All Country News shared, “Weren’t For The Wind” has officially clinched the top spot on the Mediabase Country chart. Although she already reached the top of the country charts with “You Look Like You Love Me” in 2024, this milestone is special because it represents Langley’s first solo number-one.

Langley posted about the big moment on Instagram, writing: “So proud of this song everything that it’s done and continues to do.” She also showed her appreciation for fans in the post by saying, “Thank y’all for loving this song.” The post quickly received over 70,000 likes, and fans flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages for the ACM winner.
