Rising country music star Drew Baldridge has had a year of impressive milestones, and he just reached one of the biggest yet. The singer appeared on Live With Kelly and Mark today in his first national television debut. He announced the appearance on Instagram the day before, saying: “I’ve never done national TV before, and I just can’t believe that it’s gonna happen.”

The series shared a photo on Instagram of Baldridge posing with Mark and Kelly, which quickly began amassing likes from fans and viewers. In the photo, Baldridge holds an off-white acoustic guitar that perfectly coordinates with his hat and shirt. With the episode having been freshly aired this morning, May 13th, the singer’s celebration of this milestone is undoubtedly just getting started.

Although fans had to wait for the live show to air to see Baldridge perform, they did get a sneak peek of the action beforehand. Drummer Chris Flick took to Instagram with an exclusive view from behind his drum set. He captioned the post “Live from New York, it’s early.”

Several Baldridge fans liked the post, which shows empty audience chairs and a back view of the other musicians. As Flick shared in an interview with Canvas Rebel, he started working with Baldridge in 2021, so he has been able to witness the success of the singer’s hit, “She’s Somebody’s Daughter,” firsthand.

Baldridge Got Some Incredible News Shortly Before The Appearance

As if appearing on national television wasn’t enough incredible news for one month, Baldridge also learned something exciting about his newest single, “Tough People.” As he explained in the video he posted to announce his Live With Kelly and Mark segment, the song is now climbing the country radio charts.

“Y’all just because of you, because you guys have changed my life, country radio, you have changed my life, I just found out today “Tough People” is officially top 10 at Country Radio,” he said. “And that’s my second top 10 in just a year. I am blown away.” Baldridge’s career is gaining serious momentum, and we can’t wait to see what’s next for this rising star.
