Country icon Dolly Parton has dipped her manicured toes into everything from jewelry to cake mixes, but her latest collab still might surprise you.
That’s because this deal is with a Kardashian.
Dolly is teaming up with Khloe Kardashian’s Good American clothing company for a denim line with a name that couldn’t be more inspired. Are you ready for it? Dolly’s jean collection with Good American is called “Joleans.”
On the landing page for Dolly’s designs, the collection boasts, “A LITTLE BIT OF COUNTRY, A WHOLE LOT OF GLAM.” It goes on to say, “This spring we collaborated with Dolly Parton for a collection full of rhinestones, classic denim, and southern charm.”
In a post on “Good American’s” Instagram page, Dolly sits on a stool, holding a guitar, singing “Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Joleans…” then laughs and declares, “I’m a funny rascal ain’t I? And I got good jeans too!”

In another Good American Instagram post, Dolly tells fans her Joleans collection drops Thursday, April 3, saying “this collection is near and dear to my heart. You aren’t going to want to miss this one, trust me.”
The Joleans collection features a wide variety of denim from flaired jeans to denim dresses, vests, skirts and corset shirts. It also offers a baby tee with Dolly’s name emblazoned across it in pink, highlighted by her signature butterfly.
And true to Dolly’s signature style, many of the items feature a whole lot of rhinestones. In total, the limited-time line consists of 18 items.
Joleans Collection Comes With a Personal Promise from Dolly
The baby tee and an oversized concert t-shirt are the least expensive items in the collection at $79 each. Prices go up from there, all the way to the most expensive item, a pair of pull-on “crystal denim pants” for $229.
“I think this collection shows my personal taste as my country-girl self, and through the years I’ve worn gingham and denim and all the things that we have in our collection,” Dolly said in an interview with “People Magazine.” “I love the sparkle, I love the rhinestones that we have.”
Dolly even makes a big promise about the jeans. The singer says they’ll make “your butt look good.”
“I want women, when they put on Dolly’s Joleans, to think, ‘Ooh, I feel good in these,’ then to turn around and look and say, ‘My butt looks good in these,’ because it does,” Parton told “People.” “They’re not padded. There are no lifts in them, but the way that they’re stitched and the pockets and fabric, they make any butt look good, especially if you’ve got a good butt, they look great. If you’ve got just an okay butt, they still look great.”
True to form, Dolly’s butt is on full display in one of Good American’s Instagram posts, so fans can see the jeans’ effects for themselves.
Dolly Parton Calls Kardashian Collab ‘A No Brainer’
Good American gave fans waiting for the Joleans collection to drop a sneak peek behind the scenes at the promotional shoot with the iconic country singer.
From Dolly‘s point of view, the collab with Khloe Kardashian‘s company just makes sense.
“It was just a no-brainer to collaborate with Khloé Kardashian and Emma from Good American, and then with a great name like Joleans jeans,” Parton told “People.” “I mean it was just a win-win situation all around. Also, to have that girl power to say, ‘Okay girls, let’s just do something special,’ and I think we did.”
And if you want to know what inspired the Joleans designs, Dolly says look no further than her closet. “I think that people will sense that,” she says. “I think that everybody will agree that they’ve seen me wear this type of stuff before, but Good American has perfected it, and I think we’ve got a wonderful collection.”
