Country-music lovers rallied up this past weekend at Stagecoach, an annual country music festival in California, as Anna Dasha Novotny, also known as Dasha took on the main stage.

“Who even is she?”, “They’ll make anyone famous these days,” “Some Trailer Swift girl,” “You know I like that one song she has, but I doubt she has another one,” these are only a few of the comments flooding the speakers at Stagecoach as Dasha took on the music festival.
Fans flooded the comment section to show their support for Dasha’s creative start to her set.
One person wrote, “Own it. The haters will be buying tickets any day now.”
Another person commented, “Incredible performance.”
The country artist stepped onto the main stage on April 26 in a custom Victoria Secret PINK outfit for her 35-minute set. She transformed the stage into her very own country party as she danced, played the guitar and even joined listeners in the crowd.
Where Did the Intro Idea Come From?
Dasha’s introduction to her set stems from comments she received online. Although the hurtful words were meant to tear down the singer, she used it to her creative advantage.
“I took the meanest comments I could find on the internet,” said Dasha in an interview with Billboard, “and that’s the intro to my Stagecoach set.”
The set also included a dance break that left fans wanting more.
“Reminds me of Julianne Hough in Footloose,” one person commented.
“Wow you’ve come so far,” another one commented.
During her performance of “Austin”, Dasha jumped into the crowd and danced with fans.
Although she is now performing in well-known stages, such as the one in Stagecoach, many first heard of her via TikTok.
Dasha released her album “What Happens Now?” in 2024 which is home to “Austin” her most popular song on Spotify with over 800 million streams. The song also garnered attention on TikTok as a dance trend associated with the song took over the platform and went viral.
The country singer continues to share her music with fans as she is on tour with Dylan Scott in his “Country Till I Die” tour. She will be joining Scott on his Florida tour dates on May 15 in Estero, Fla., May 16 in Orlando, Fla. and May 17 in St. Augustine, Fla. She will also join Thomas Rhett in his “Better in Boots” tour.
