Country Artist Reveals the Coldest Way He’s Ever Been Led On

The dating scene is rough even for country music singer Bailey Zimmerman. The “Rock and A Hard Place” singer stopped by the “Today’s Country Radio” hosted by Kelleigh Bannen and shared insight on his love life.

Bailey Zimmerman Opens Up About His Dating Life

When asked what is the coldest way someone has broken up with him or led him on, Zimmerman shared his story.

Last year, he said, there was a girl he was really into. 

“So we went on this trip,” he continued, “and I had never really hung out with her before, but we just went on this trip; random. And I was like, ‘This is how it works, like this is how it happens in the movies. Let’s go on this trip.’ So we go on this trip. Have, I mean, insane time. We’re drinking, we’re smoking, we’re hanging, partying with all these locals in this town we’ve never been to. I mean, just so much fun.”

The trip which was originally set to last one day turned into “four or five days of… partying, having fun,” Zimmerman said. “I’m like, ‘Man, we’ve really bonded. We’ve really locked in. Like,do you want to, like, date?’…Guess what she said? ‘I don’t know if I’m ready for that.’ I’m like, ‘Wait a second. So all this whole thing, waking up together. You’re on my shoulder. We’re talking about life and all these things and we’re kissing, and there’s fireworks. Nothing, that means nothing.’ Really like and it’s just like, this is how the world is.”

Zimmerman went on to share how the dating scene has shifted from what it once was.

“They want fun real quick,” he said, “but then they, a lot of people don’t have that commitment to them, and they’re really scared to commit these days. And honestly, I feel it, because I got walls built up, and it feels like everybody’s got walls built up, and nobody wants to let them down to see if something’s gonna work.”

Bailey Zimmerman is on Tour

Zimmerman is currently on the road for his “New to Country” summer tour which kicked off on June 6 in Indiana and is set to wrap up in September.
